Welcome to our home: where we have found peace and relaxation for over 20 years. A German native, Big R fell in love with the open land and rolling hills of Wisconsin, becoming a US citizen in the 80s. He met Curly, a Chicago city girl, who brought a little city to his country life. They enjoy raising buffalo and spending warmer days on their porch enjoying the fresh air and beautiful views (with no mosquitos!). Now they want to share their idyllic and peaceful home with you. Drive down a dead-end road and pull up to a rustic cabin filled with high-tech and cozy amenities. We have something for everyone with a gas fireplace, tv (complete with dish, Cinemax, HBO and a Bluetooth sound system), board games and a full kitchen. Take a drink outside to soak in the hot tub or sit around the campfire. When the day is done, you will fall asleep instantly on the memory foam bed, either in the loft or the bedroom, and wake up to a beautiful sunrise looking out over your little getaway.

Tiny on the River

According to Forbes, Escape makes "the most beautiful tiny houses in the world". Ours is perched near our home above the Black River. It's a quiet neighborhood just minutes from the interstate, parks, trails, and our vibrant downtown with cafés, shops, and great restaurants. Enjoy privacy and breathtaking views from the enormous windows or the cozy daybed on the porch! Deer, beaver, eagles, and more make frequent cameos as the seasons paint shifting riverscapes and astonishing sunsets. *No Pets

Nature’s Nest

Unwind and immerse yourself in nature at this cozy cabin overlooking Timber Coulee Creek. Large living room windows and a spacious deck provide you with a bird’s eye view of the rippling river and many types of wild life. Deer amble through the property; eagles soar and keep an eagle eye on everything. Turkeys, squirrels, coons, and myriad of birds go about their business in this serene environment. This newly built cabin has all the modern comforts in a quiet relaxing setting. Sit on the patio and watch the wildlife and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Cabin includes large open kitchen and living room area with sliding glass doors to patio. The kitchen incudes full size refrigerator, stove and microwave. The cabin has separate bed room with Queen Bed and pull out sofa sleeper in living room and full bath. Includes Wi-Fi, AC, Smart TV, DVD Player, Gas Grill, Fire Pit and is pet friendly.

Relax into the slower pace of river life. We are located on a laid back street where everyone is ready with a friendly wave or a driveway chat. The boat landing is just a mile away. The house is stylish and comfortable. We hope to provide our guest with whatever the need for a few days away. We are in a high PFAs area so bottled water is provided for guest consumption. The place gives you a cabin feel close to La Crosse! 15 minute drive to downtown La Crosse and 3 miles North of Stoddard puts you in a great central location for the area. Mt. La Crosse is super close to enjoy skiing/snowboarding. Goose Island is 5 minutes away. Great spot for bird watching, fishing, kayaking, boat launches, hiking or frisbee golf. Pets are welcome. A cozy shed house located in the hills of Coral City, WI. This Shed house includes a private deck, cozy living room, full kitchen, 1 bedroom with queen bed, 1 bathroom with shower and extra air mattresses, sheets, & pillows for guests. It is surrounded by nature but near to the city. We are also located close to many wedding venues. The Shed House is a separate building, but located on the same property as the owner's home. During the winter months, 4-wheel drive is necessary.

Grapevine Log Cabins, based in Sparta WI, offers pet friendly cabin rentals on a family dairy farm. Amenities and activities include: a walking trail, bike trail, cows in pasture, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, grills outside (there is no cooking in the cabins), Air Conditioning, Heat and firewood is supplied. Nearby activities include: canoeing, fishing, 4 wheeling, antiquing, and superb scenic sites. Pet Policy: Pets may stay with you for an extra $25 per pet/night.

Welcome to Faye's Place! We are a 2 bedroom/1 bath Cottage on the Northside of La Crosse with a full fenced in yard! We are right off of 1-90. 2 Blocks from The Black River! Close to Kwik Trip, Walgreens, Food and Animal Watching! 10 min. away from downtown and UWL! Faye's Place is my childhood home and is a small immersive experience. Themed rooms, nostalgic items, games, toys and a treasure hunt! We decorate for all holidays.
