Our cozy house is 15 km from Santiago in the middle of the Camino de la Plata, 300 meters from the last hostel. We are located on Pico Sacro (sacred peak) from where you can see the entire region. Ideal for enjoying nature, tranquility, and a perfect location for excursions.

The old stone cottage has been renovated with amenities for a comfortable self catering holiday. Casa da Oliveira (Casa das Oliveiras-G. Maps) is close to the village of Mesão-Frio (+/- 2 km), the gateway to Douro Vinhateiro. An old house, prior to 1950, was restored and maintains some of the original stone walls. It has 1 bedroom, a toilet, a living room with a sofa bed and an equipped kitchen, AC, TV, Wi-Fi and a barbecue grill outside. The views are magnificent over the region's vineyards and the Douro River. Excellent choice for a few days of rest, a week or a weekend.
