“Our stay at Danushka's place was more than amazing. The house was surrounded by green nature. We saw a lot of beautiful animals in their garden. Whe had a very varied breakfast. Every morning we had a different kind of breakfast. The hosts were always there. They helped us in every way they could. They arranged us a jeep safari, drove us to different places, gave us a lot of tips about eating possibilities, tourist attractions, train reservations,... We met some very nice people (other guests) at the place itself. We can highly recommend this place.”

“Dinukas place is a beautifully built tree house which is surrounded by lot of trees. You will wake up to the sounds of birds and squirrels. The place is very comfortable - spacious, has mosquito nets and coils, all the windows are well netted, hot water, high speed wifi. It is very close to Sigiriya and Pidurangala rock. He and his sister Jeewanthi are great, humble hosts and genuinely nice people and they did everything to make our stay comfortable. Dinuka is starting a restaurant too at his place and we had dinner there - the food was amazing. His mom is a great cook. Happy to have stayed here and to have met wonderful people.”

“Upon arrival, we found a host, on the way out we left a very good friend. Thillina is what can be called an all in one! We are used to 5-star locations, but in this case, I don't know how many stars THillina deserves! Let's do the math: For the communication before, during and after and the reception this host deserves 5 stars. Its facilities do not have any luxury, but it has all the comfort and quality you could want - very simple and very effective; 5 more stars Its location, in the center of Sri Lanka's most important historic area - Sigiryia, is almost equidistant from Polonaruwa, Dambulla, and Anuradhapura, etc. and one of the most beautiful elephant reserves. Here is the bush and its hisses and songs and sounds of nature ... plus 5 stars! But the host is still an excellent advisor on what, when and how to visit; whatever the length of your stay gives yourself to your suggestion - he is also an excellent guide for which he deserves 5 more stars. But I am not finished yet because any guest can only gain if he lets himself be guided in his Tuktuk, which he drives with calm and mastery. Do you think I already gave all the stars? Not yet! Thillina and his family, mother and wife, they are excellent cooks who produce the best local delicacies! how much is this worth to you? For us, they were more than 5 stars! All of this has only one catch - it is the immense nostalgia that we are left with all this.”
