Historic Windsor Hotel Room #3

Originally built as a silver miners hotel in 1800’s. It has been in the same family over 100 years. We take great pride in keeping the property historic and not renovated. Step back in time to aged cracked wallpaper in areas from the 1920’s. The floor creaks, the house is crooked, this is an experience, not modern. Most of the furniture is original antiques from the proprietors past. The bathroom is shared but easily as our guests are adventurists and leave at all different hours of the morning.

Alien Robot room 2078 at Video Vision

While visiting Winona, MN stay in this newly converted space. This unique place has a style all its own. This building is the former home of Video Vision, a home movie rental store that serviced the Winona area from the early 80’s until 2019. I purchased this building and spent the better part of a year converting it to 4 exceptional spaces, each designed and curated to reflect Winona hotspots, history and culture. Elegant & inviting, this room defined by a dramatic archway that separates 2 distinct living spaces: a high-top near the wet bar + sitting area at the foot of the bed. The corner windows offer one of the best perspectives in KC. All 8 guest rooms have private bedrooms & bathrooms. Heads up: our lobby bar is open most Wed–Sat, with quiet hours starting at 1 AM. Not ideal for light sleepers! There’s no TV, and our linens lean crisp over cushy, thanks to the commercial sanitizing service we use.

Fun place! Bottom-bunk. We are Budget-friendly & social stay with options! Put your next getaway into action by booking "A" bed in the Hip House bunkroom, a male/female dorm type room. The beds are custom built for adults, with great mattresses and fresh duvets. There are two single-over-single bunk beds, accommodating up to four guests. Off N. I-25. 2.2 miles", 7 miles to town. Ranchette's. Large group? No worry! Private rooms, a Horsebox renovation, campers, a tipi and a bell tent!

Black Monarch #4: The Black Annise

The Black Monarch was re-built after a fire in 1899 as a brothel, casino, and saloon. It is a storied slice of Victorian era Americana , nestled in the beautiful Rocky Mountain gold rush city of Victor, Colorado. The building is exquisite in its design and well preserved with original windows, doors, tin ceilings, and stairs. Local legend states that the building is haunted by the ghost of a miner who died in a gunfight, and was originally wired by electrical genius Nikola Tesla.

The Woodsman Suite

A third floor suite, facing the river with the train tracks only a couple blocks away. It took 2 months to do the ceiling. Carefully polished and placed the old lath in a specific design, the ceiling is a work of art. Eighty percent of the material used in this room is from re purposed lumber, either from this building or from a childhood barn built in the late 1800's. It will take you a while to notice every detail down to the toilet paper holder which is from an old barn post.
