Ryokan-style, maximum 10 people, parking for 3 cars, Showa Inn for private rentals, convenient for training camps, sauna tours, Kumagaya, Inuyama, and Ghibli Park

Tajimi Shukukitaya is a retro Showa-style private inn recommended for those who want to enjoy both Higashinose sightseeing and a sauna tour. It is a convenient base for sightseeing to Tsumakago, Inuyama, Ghibli Park, the monastery, Korakei-san Eibo-ji Temple, Toki Outlet, and more. It is also in a location where it is easy to visit popular hot spring facilities such as Amamitsu-no-Yu, Ryusen-ji Temple, Yorimichi Onsen, and Yunohana Island. In a traditional house with tatami mats, you can enjoy a relaxing stay with family or friends, or even with a large group, such as three generations on a trip. The surroundings are very quiet, and after enjoying the sauna and sightseeing, you can spend some time relaxing in a space that feels somewhat nostalgic. Whether it's a sauna trip with several people or a group holiday, the appeal lies in gathering together in the same space, enjoying meals and conversation, and creating memories. It's different from a hotel, and you can also experience the feeling of staying as if you were living there. Please note that, due to the natural surroundings, there may be cold spells and snowfall in winter, requiring studded tyres.Insects can appear in the summer. In addition, the last 200 metres or so to the accommodation are on a narrow road, and cars cannot pass each other. There are some inconveniences, but this is an accommodation where you can enjoy tranquillity and a traditional stay, including those inconveniences.

Traditional Townhouse & Garden in Quiet Castletown

Experience the charm of traditional Japan with all the senses in this finely crafted townhouse & surrounding garden. Gujo Hachiman is known as the “City of Water”, and owner & architect Yuri Fujisawa has lovingly restored this charming residence to embody the spirit of water. Located below the town’s medieval castle, this neighborhood was reserved for high-ranking samurai. While the historical streetscape is well-preserved, it remains an authentic neighborhood inhabited by friendly locals.
