Small cabin with charm on Øståsen in Vikersund. 40 min walk uphill from the parking lot. Here you can experience a simple life without electricity and water. The way up is a nice walk, a bit heavy in some parts. Recommended to go up before it gets dark. Remember to bring good shoes and warm clothes. At the top awaits the prize, flat and nice with beautiful views :) Bunk bed in the kitchen, sofa bed in the living room. The barbecue hut is cozy, overlooking the fjord – surrounded by forest and birdsong. There is electricity and outdoor water. The fire pit, water activities, sheepskins and the view make it unforgettable. Enjoy the calm, the sunset and the crackling of the fire. Perfect for couples, friends or solo travelers who want to relax. Simple – but magical. Possibility of boat rental with/without motor.

Forest cabin by the lake

Cabin without electricity and running water/drainage. Take a trip to Svingom on Holleia. Here you get a cozy cabin with simple standard! In winter, we recommend bringing your own duvet or sleeping bag as there are only summer duvets in the cabin! If you pay for a fishing license at the gate you have access to fishing in all waters! Possibility of kilo fishing in the surrounding forest lakes. Holleia offers fantastic trips for those who want to go short and long. Skiing opportunities right outside the cabin when there is enough snow! You are very welcome!

Lovely cabin

Forget worries, enjoy long glorious days in this lovely cottage by beautiful Tyrifjorden. Here you can vacation both rural and central at the same time. Oslo is 40 min away, the fjord is on the property, golf course 5 min away and not to mention Krokskogen with beautiful ski slopes, hiking and biking trails! The cabin has recently been renovated and is a great place to come back to after active days out. No running water! Drinking water is provided in cans (arranged by the host), water for washing is in the spring on the porch. Combustion toilet.

Stolpehytta

Lower your heart rate at the top of Stolpehytta! Stolpehytta is located 5 minutes away from Blaafarveværket in Modum municipality, right next to the climbing park Høyt & Lavt Modum. Here you can find tranquility among the treetops. The large windows provide a panoramic view over the landscape and the night sky. Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just enough space for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. If you want activity, you can rent e-bikes, stroll down to the climbing park or explore the local area.

Cabin located by Sandtjern. Large windows with great views. No electricity and water. Take a break from everyday life in this cozy cabin. Here you can enjoy the silence and let your thoughts rest. Perfect for quiet evenings in the presence of nature. Access to the cabin is approx. 15 min walk (1.5 km) with partly forest road and nice hiking trail. Ski slope in winter. Drinking water is provided by the host. Road toll NOK 100 Bed linen and towels are not included. We recommend going up before it gets dark. Remember to bring a headlamp.

Idyllic small farm with private beach

Small farm with a lot of history on the idyllic Bønsnes. On the property there is a small forest bordering the Tyrifjorden. 500 meters walk from the house is the farm's own beach. A cozy farmhouse in good condition, with three living rooms, 10 fireplaces. View of the fjord in one direction and the farm's land and vines in the other. Historical buzz: On the neighboring plot lived painter Anders Svarstad (1869-1943), who was married to Nobel Prize winner Sigrid Undset, and they were regularly on the farm.

There is a small kitchen with hobs, a small stove as well as a fridge and freezer. Bathroom with shower and washing machine. The house is located on a farm with good parking facilities. Short distance to the river with fishing and swimming facilities, Blaafargeværket (about 10 min drive), Vikersundbakken (10 min drive), Furumo swimming facility (approx. 10 min drive).

Here you have immediate proximity to the wilderness, swimming, fishing and cross-country skiing. Enjoy beautiful sunrises, peace and quiet, and a scenic private sauna with breathtaking views. Sightseeing and restaurants in Oslo are nearby. The cottage is modern and fully equipped with top facilities.

Charming cabin in the forest with a view

Recharge your batteries at this unique and quiet accommodation in the woods. The road goes all the way up to the cabin so you have the car right outside. There is electricity from solar cells and generator. Originally the cabin is without running water - but we have recently connected water from our own well to the cabin so that you get water in the spring. Small hot water tank of 15 liters, enough for a shower of 6 minutes before it must be heated up again which takes about 30-60 min.

Enjoy nature in this beautiful, quiet place! There is no electricity. Fresh water from a new well. Poor phone signals and zero wifi! This is perfect for a digital detox! This is a place for pure relaxation. The climbing park HøytogLavt Modum and Blaafarveværket are just a few minutes away by car. The place used to house workers from the cobalt mines. The mines is now a museum that can be visited during summer. Approximately 40 min drive to Drammen and 75 min to Oslo.
