Guest house holiday rentals in Monterey

This area is very special, location between Monterey and Carmel. The Monterey Cypress forest is a treasure as are the beaches. The cottage was very nice, tucked into the property under trees with beautiful gardens. Private outside seating area. Good wall heater for space. Bed was comfy. Good to have table and chairs, regular seating chairs and a futon for relaxing. Functional, basic kitchen. Paper towels and basic dinner ware supplied. Wine opener and can opener supplied. Bring your own special kitchen ware as needed. We used the supplied great electric kettle and french press for coffee. Toaster, microwave and small refrigerator worked great. Great shower and water pressure. So good to have extra blanket and pillows! WiFi worked great. Thank you Luna and Philip!

This place was exactly what we were looking for! It was very clean and had everything we needed. The check in and out was smooth and she was very quick to respond to us! The garden and room were super cute and well decorated. It was super cozy! It was my first time booking through Airbnb and I would definitely stay again! Thank you again for letting us stay!

This was perfect for us. Adorable apartment home with vintage charm. We had our own entrance and it felt private and protected. The house had all kinds noon extras like coffee, teas, and snacks as well as lots of games. It was close enough to walk to really good restaurants and all the fun but far enough away from the crowds, partiers, and noise of the boardwalk that we could rest peacefully. The whole house was clean, cozy, and comfortable. I would highly recommend.

Phillip and Lisa were by far the best Air BnB hosts we have ever had the pleasure to stay with. They provided a race day package upon learning that we were in town for the Big Sur Marathon that was both thoughtful and practical. Their space was exactly as advertised and the perfect place for a weekend getaway to Carmel. Philip and Lisa went out of their way to ensure our comfort while utilizing the Nestle Inn. We cannot recommend a stay with them highly enough!

We spent almost 3 weeks in this cozy and charming apartment. The location is perfect for experiencing all that Santa Cruz has to offer and we walked to the beach, wharf, and Boardwalk daily. Many coffee shops and restaurants are blocks away. Mike was extremely responsive and friendly, but not intrusive at all. We hope to stay here again.

Had an absolutely lovely stay at Rezan’s place. She was the utmost in hospitableness and thoughtfulness The property is absolutely gorgeous, filled with birds and trees and flowers and the sound of frogs, statuary, walking paths, places to sit and enjoy the environment, a little pond with fountain, and just minutes to downtown Los Gatos. I had the best stay.

My husband and I stayed at Tom's cabin for 1 night while driving from Santa Barbara to SF. The location really stands out - the cabin is tucked away in the trees just a 10 minute walk from Carmel town / 15 minute walk from Carmel beach, in a beautiful old neighborhood with lots of character. Helpfully, there is a guest parking spot as well. The cabin itself was old school in its feel but spic and span, with snacks and coffee provided - we loved the little balcony, though the weather was too cold to use it! While a bit pricey, the cabin is priced comparably to the converted motels in town and we liked the secluded setting better. It's Carmel so you have to spend a lot to get something that feels fancy, which we didn't need!

We loved Carla’s place. Very clean, great location. Walkable to downtown and the wharf.

The house is very cosy, welcoming, and clean. The host is very kind, and responsive. She responds to messages within minutes and is very flexible. We felt welcomed and supported. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped. I highly recommend this place for itself, and for the quality of communication with the host.

I had to stay for work, and the place really felt cozy. All amenities are available inside and it is very private. I had to make last minute changes and Josephine was kind enough to grant it. Will definitely recommend the place.

This place was so cute and perfect for our stay. It was clean and looked new and well maintained. Martha was accommodating to our needs and very responsive. We felt really at home and enjoyed our stay there. We would stay here again next time we are in the area.

Super cute place! Our kids loved the ducks and horses across the street. They couldn’t wait to explore! The house is very well stocked- games, kids toys, cookware, laundry soap… everything you can think of! We had a really great time, and it’s such a unique place to get to stay!

We will be returning for sure. Kimberly and the space could not have been better for our needs. We've been touring colleges with our daughter and for our UCSC round we found the location to be utterly peaceful and quiet and exactly as described and clean as a whistle. It's one block from one of the prettiest beaches and has a ton of food/amenities located nearby. Kimberly was highly communicative and offered lots of useful suggestions both for restaurants and things to do while in the area. If our child ends up at UCSC we will be benefit from this space regularly. Thanks for the wonderful offering and help, Kimberly.

This is my 3rd or 4th time staying at Pedram's place and every time is perfect. Pedram is super easy to communicate with and responsive. The place is exactly what I want and has excellent appliances and layout.

This house is located just perfectly, really private area, but still close to basically everything you want to visit. The views down the valley were amazing. The house was very clean and equipped with everything we needed.

What a find! Right where we needed to be and the place was equipped with all the goods. Stove and oven to make dinner, washer and dryer in case you need it! Thanks for hosting

We highly recommend Karin’s Los Gatos vacation rental. The house is quiet, comfortable, beautiful, convenient, and extremely clean. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio, overseeing a canyon and listening to the sounds of birds. It is a short drive to downtown Los Gatos but it is up in the hills and feels away from everything. The landscaping is gorgeous. This is truly a beautiful place to stay (inside and out). We’ll definitely try to stay here again.

This was such a great rental! Everything was perfect. Host VERY helpful and communicative. Beds were AMAZING! Linen was awesome. Everything was spotless. Quiet at night, even though the house is close to great food, ice cream and coffee. I would absolutely stay here again and I highly recommend this place. Perfect for 2 couples or 2 couples with a child or a family of four. One of the best places for it's size in the area. And one of the best hosts as well.

Very very private, quiet place nested in the woods. It smelled really good. It’s a lot bigger than the pictures and a lot more beautiful than we imagined. You can open the door and see the red woods right in front of you. The place was also very clean and organized, beautifully decorated. It was cold but the fireplace heated up the studio very quickly. We did not pack a lot of stuff because Zohar provided most of it (soap, shampoo, hairdryer, washer and dryer). The shower heated up quickly and the water pressure was strong, and we really enjoyed the hot shower after a long day out. It basically had the amenities of modern living while being in the middle of nature. It’s a very calming and relaxing place, if we didn’t have so much stuff to do we would have hung out on the deck all day. Steep driveway but it’s not that bad, just drive slowly and you’ll get used to it.

This is such a gem! This little duplex was so cute and perfect for our stay in Santa Cruz. The pictures don’t do it justice! Kathleen was a fantastic host. She was great with communication and checked in with us throughout our stay. The location is unbeatable, 20 minute walk to the boardwalk, 10 minute walk to the beach and 1 minute walk to Verve coffee! I highly recommend Kathleen’s spot to anyone!

WHAT an absolutely stunning property!!! Two minute drive or easy walk to The Lodge, The Hay, practice ground (ONE minute), etc, while feeling as if you’re in the country. Extremely well appointed kitchen, snacks (nuts, cookies and a freezer full of treats) and drinks (you name it …) galore. Keurig and pods were going all morning and afternoon. Adorable setting with outdoor seating and gorgeous fire pit. You’ll design your next house after Philippe’s charming cottage. Enjoy!!!
