Holiday rentals with a kayak in Montmorency County

We had a great time. Very beautiful scenery on a peaceful lake. We enjoyed absolute relaxation and didn’t have much reason to leave.

The entire experience was great from the pre-stay communication. Todd was very responsive, checking in to see if the driveway needed plowed, offered to make sure we had everything we needed. We had a winter storm and he graciously was able to allow us another night with a later check out so we could leave at a safe time. Plan to return. Home was a great place to stay, and had comfortable sleeping as well as good appliances, etc. Highly recommend.

Sarah was very responsive when the snow kept falling thanks so much for sending a plow!! We had a great ski weekend and kids loved it. Will be up in the summer for some fishing

This cabin was perfect. Our family of four absolutely loved our stay. We were able to dock our 17 1/2' fishing boat on the canal with easy access to Indian River and Burt Lake. The cabin was fully stocked with all of the essentials. We will definitely reserve again.

Convenient launching pad for winter adventures. Under 10 minute drive to Treetops which was perfect for our weekend ski trip.

House was clean and spacious. Parking was great for car or small trailer, tight parking for trailers over 18ft in the winter. Mallard road is not fully plowed. Overall was great for my needs.

Denise’s place was better than expected! Very clean and comfortable beds. Everything you need is there. Her response time with our questions was almost immediate and so helpful! We enjoyed the inlet to Burt Lake for how quiet it was. We kayaked and boated the inlet and lake …so easy to dock right at the cottage! Enjoyed roasting marshmallow at her gas fire pit. Close to Mackinac Island and Petoskey. Perfect getaway for us! We will be back.

The property was exactly as described and seen in pictures. Clean, well stocked with plenty of kitchen items and essentials. Great location.

I wish I could put into words how amazing this stay was! There were so many activities to do here, it was insane! I wish we had more time to enjoy them. It was very peaceful, kayaking down the river was a beautiful experience (definitely recommend water shoes, rocky bottom). They are also very accommodating for pets or for babies, have extra things just in case you forget something. 100000/10 would recommend to anyone!

The lake view is great, beautiful sunrises! We stayed during fall, & during weekdays, so it was pretty quiet around the neighborhood. Enjoyed the firepit. It's an older home, but has all the necessary amenities!

I asked my 9, 8 & 5 year old about the best part of our stay, and they all agreed that the hot tub, fire pit for s’mores and the board games were the best part. I enjoyed having a quiet space to get homework done with a view of the water. This was the perfect get away for a family of 5! We enjoyed staying inside, cooking meals & enjoying the house itself. It is beautiful inside and out, exactly like the photos and had everything we needed for our stay. We can’t wait to come back during the summer time to go out on the lake!

Jessica is an amazing host. There were so many extras. We loved the kayaks and canoe that they were kind enough to let us use. Spent most of our day in the water. Very clear water. Kid friendly. A zillion stars at night and coffee with the pretty Sunrise. We were ages 3 to 64 and all had a blast. We never wanted to leave. Fast response to questions. Easy check in. Easy to find. Clean. Had everything you need to cook. Many fun places near to explore. We even fished for Salmon. We highly recommend and would love to come back. You will not be sorry if you stay. Thank you Thank you

We found this gem last minute. Our visit was for a funeral. Lori let me know we could check in early if need be and also gave us a late check out without question. The grounds are gorgeous and well kept. You are right on Grand lake with a nice beach and picnic area. There is a place for a bonfire. The cabin is very clean. The sheets were fresh and smelled wonderful. The back is all windows to look out at the lake. There is a nice deck out of the sliding glass doors. Just a few miles away from good food on the lake and Presque Isle light house, sink holes, Rockport state park and dark sky observatory and about a 30 minute drive to Ocqueoc Falls. We actually saw the Northern lights from the deck off of the cabin. The pups had a great time too. Lori is a fabulous host and went out of her way to make a hard time easier.

We needed a quiet cabin near the Aloha State Park where our son and 5 grandkids were camping The drive to the park was about 20 minutes. The cabin was well supplied and quiet. We did have issues with the WiFi and Alena responded quickly The cabin was clean and comfortable with a good view of Mullet Lake

We had an excellent stay! The place was exactly as described, clean & cozy for our family vacation. Sheila was very responsive & made us feel right at home. Definitely recommend staying here! We will be back again :)

Cozy cabin in a good location

Great place and location. The house was cozy and well appointed. It is an older home and comes with quirks. If you are familiar to "up north" cabins this will not be a matter to consider at all. If you are used to champagne and canopy beds and you know who you are look elsewhere like maybe out of state. I have nothing bad to say about this place. You will love it!

Absolutely loved our stay here. House is beautifully done and very comfortable. Host were amazing in helping us with a late night arrival. We look forward to being able to return in the future.

Comfortable and cozy stay in a beautiful setting - about 30 minutes out from Boyne and even closer to downtown Gaylord. Would highly recommend!

Cozy Cabin was exactly that, including its great location. It fit our winter needs for our mini vacation perfectly with all that snow!! Lauri was pleasant to talk with as well!

N.M. was a wonderful host. Very helpful and responsive! The adjustable room temperature was great as each guest could set the temp to their liking, loved that. The house was cozy and the hot tub was an amazing bonus to our low key girls weekend away. We bumped into one of their neighbors on the private drive and they were very friendly as well. A great area in the woods while being close to town! We will be back!

Stayed at the Lilly Pad for the trout opener with my son and some friends. We love the cottage and it's location close to the Sturgeon and Pigeon rivers. This is our second time staying at the Lilly Pad - never disappoints.

The cabin is very warm and cozy! Beautiful inside. Brandie our host was very friendly and accommodating. Definitely would visit again. We went to the ocqueoc falls in the winter. Very peaceful
