Karen’s place provided a wonderful retreat whilst we were at Golden Plains festival with our children (3&5yo). The children loved the garden Karen provided thoughtful bubble bath, the kitchen was very well equipped (we even baked muffins) and the BBQ was spotless! Buninyong is a lovely town close by and it’s so close to Ballarat if you want to explore those sights and delights. Thanks again for a lovely stay!

We had a great stay at Alex's place in Creswick. It was perfect for us, with room for adults and kids. The house is well-appointed for self-catering and has everythign you need. It's clean and comfortable and spacious.

Just glorious. What a beautiful place to stay. Judy and Neil were lovely hosts and the Great Hall had so many lovely touches, from the expansive range of LPs and CDs, to the styling of the space, to the fresh flowers and Neil's wonderful sourdough. There's obviously so much care and thought put into the space for others to enjoy. The space is gorgeous with the morning light, and wonderful to relax outside in the afternoon. I had every intention of exploring the local area but chose to stay in, reading and enjoying the sounds of the kookaburras and magpies. I feel like I had escaped from the world for a week, not just a weekend. I very much recommend listening to the CDs of Judy and Neil's own music too! I would love to come back again in the colder months to enjoy the fireplace. Even if it's a rainy weekend - to be nestled up in this space, switching off from the world, would be such a treat.

We had a delightful stay in Cathy’s lovely home. All was stylish and well appointed with amazing views. Enjoyed the farm setting with chooks and sheep and alpacas as well as kangaroos visiting in the early morning and evening. Five stars!

The space was clean, bright and tidy, and the atmosphere felt peaceful and inviting from the moment we arrived. The location was ideal for a relaxing getaway—close enough to explore the area but tucked away enough to enjoy some real serenity. We especially loved the outdoor spaces and cozy interiors that made it easy to unwind and recharge. Our host was communicative, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed for a seamless stay. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a gorgeous, relaxing, and well-appointed escape. We’ll definitely be back!
