Nära till Siljan (10 minuters promenad), affärer i centrum (max 5 minuter med cykel). Det är även nära till vandringsleder, skidspår samt skog och mark. Granbergets slalombacke en mil bort. Tegera Arena för den ishockeyintresserade, 2 km bort. Bil kan parkeras precis intill gästhuset. Cyklar finns att låna.
