Garden suite

The guest area is private. It has a queen bedroom with ensuite, its own entrance, veranda and outside space. There is a private lounge for exclusive guest use overlooking the garden with fridge/tea/coffee etc. It is nestled in the foothills of the pretty suburb of Cashmere, on excellent bus routes, but close enough to walk into the city if you wish. There are beautiful riverside walks to cafes and bars close by. The garden is stunning with fantails, silvereyes and bellbirds as regular visitors.

Kakariki Ecostay

A beautiful private hill-side sanctuary in Sumner overlooking Christchurch with a clear view to the southern alps, estuary & the whole of pegasus bay. This ecologically & sustainably designed home off a private lane surrounded by native bushland with arguably one of the best views in town. With less than a 5 minute drive or a 15 minute walk downhill you will have access to Sumner Beach and Village. Alternatively a short walk uphill to access mountain bike and walking tracks on the Port Hills.

A comfortable studio unit in a quiet beach hill suburb of Sumner. Great walks within 15 minutes, uphill to open farmland & downhill to Sumner beach, cafe's & restaurants. The studio is set in a quiet cul-de-sac with no road noise and with very quiet neighbours. It's a very restful setting.

Oma's Cottage

The cottage has a fully functional kitchen, and a washer dryer to get all of your laundry sorted. The cottage has a double bedroom with a queen bed, a single bedroom and a comfortable pull out couch if there are more people staying. We would absolutely love to host you but please be aware this is not a hotel. It's primarily a place for family to stay when they come and visit so just treat it like your own home away from home ☺️

Our studio is available for longer-term stays - please check the calendar for availability. Self contained studio located in beautiful Huntsbury. We are close to some of the best mountain biking, hiking and cafes. 10 minute drive to central Christchurch and 25 minutes from the airport. We are also on a main bus route, located just outside the property.
