Óbót 1. — riverside cabin

Óbót is a small cabin (13.5 square meters) and has accommodations just outside Egilsstaðir and has a great riverside view. The cabin has two single beds, private bathroom and free WiFi. The facilities are extremely suitable for two people. A variety of hiking trails are nearby and guests are allowed to go fishing for free in the river called Rangá. The nearest airport is Egilsstaðir Airport, 8 km from the cabin location.

The cottage is on a small and quiet family run farm, 8 km to the town Egilsstaðir. These small houses are cozy and heated with geothermal energy, the cottages can be booked all year around. We provide linen, towels, tea and Coffee for no extra charge. The surrounding area consists of a river, trees, northern lights, beautiful nature and during the winter time you might even see some reindeers wandering around.

It's a big old house on two floors and a basement. There's a big patio with furniture and a gas grill. Balcony from the living room with great views of the fjord. Fenced garden with lots of trees and a good playground. There's a playground next to the park. The coffee shop is open in Sólbrekka during the summer from June 15th to August 10th, where you can get light meals.
