Jølet! Imagine lying suspended above the ground on a bed of rushing water with stars in your eyes! That's exactly what you can experience in Jølet, the cabin that is specially designed to give an optimal feeling of closeness to nature. On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

The cabin is located high and free on a farm 270 metres above sea level. Here you have a view in all directions. Towards Hoven Restaurant/Loen Skylift, Loen, Olden, the fjord and the surrounding mountains. Right outside the cabin, you have many hiking opportunities. Among other things, you can walk to Rakssetra and on to the Hoven/Loen ski lift. Bodaminova

Cozy cabin right on the seafront, with the fjord as the closest neighbor. The cabin consists of a living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, hallway and loft. Plus, there is a great barbecue house. Here you can enjoy quiet days at the fjord or you have a good starting point for getting around the many sights and activities the area has to offer. The cabin can be used throughout the year, summer and winter. It takes approx. 10 minutes by car to Stryn city center. To Loen Skylift about 15-20 minutes.

Welcome to an unique vacation home where you get to experience farm life up close and maybe taste egg and milk from our animals. Utigård is located in beautiful surroundings close to the fjord, surrounded by snow covered mountains and the mighty glaciers in Olden and Loen in Nordfjord.

Cottage of about 60 square meters with 2 bedrooms plus loft. Own kitchen with crockery. The cottage is in a peaceful area with 3 other cabins. The chalet is at the end of a private road and the area is quiet and peaceful. There is barbecue at the cabin for fine evenings with sunset in the fjord. There is a fireplace in the living room and it comes with firewood that can be used if it gets cold. There is also electric heating in every room. Bed linen and cleaning are included in the price.

Fjordsyn - basement apartment

We rent out our basement flat. It is a cosy, simple and peaceful place with a central location. The kitchen is a small and simple "cottage kitchen", with a temporary small countertop, but it will contain the most basic items. You have fjords and mountains right outside your door, and you are centrally located for many popular activities in the area. E.g.: Loen Skylift, Via Ferrata Loen, Briksdalsbreen and Kjenndalsbreen, etc. (The flat is being renovated, e.g. the kitchen countertop!)

Atelier eplehagen

Cozy apartment for two people with beautiful fjord views rented for a minimum of 2 days. The apartment is equipped with two beds of 90 x 200 that can be put together to double bed, outdoor furniture, stove with induction and oven, fridge with freezer, coffee maker, kettle and various cutlery/other kitchen utensils (not dishwasher), internet, satellite channels, shower/toilet, floor heating throughout the apartment. The apartment is located in our apple orchard in rural surroundings.

Birdbox Lotsbergskaara

Birdbox Lotsbergskaara is located at Lote, in Western Norway, at an elevation of 270 metres above sea level. With one of Norway’s most breathtaking views of fjords and mountains, you’ll experience a true sense of quiet luxury and a calm, relaxing stay. While you relax in the comfortable cabin, you might be lucky enough to spot deer grazing and eagles soaring just outside the window. The surrounding area offers plenty to do, surrounded by the landscapes Western Norway is known for.

The 125 sqm apartment is beautifully located on the third floor with panoramic views over Oldebukta and the fjord. Direct entrance from ground level and with large outdoor area/additional area. From the apartment you also have direct views of Loen Skylift, Via Feratta Loen and towards Briksdalsbreen. From the apartment there is a short drive to the fjord, mountains, as well as many excursions. The apartment is brand new in July 2020.

Tastefully decorated apartment in beautiful Loen in Stryn municipality. It is listed in 2023 and contains two bedrooms, kitchen/living room, bathroom, laundry room and large terrace with jacuzzi. From the apartment you have views right towards Hoven and Loen Skylift. The apartment is recommended for adults and children over 8 years of age.

Cozy house with nice location.

Pleasant accommodation with a central location right by Stryneelva. Located about 4 km from Stryn city center, in rural surroundings. The house was partially renovated in 2022, and has, among other things, a brand new kitchen. The house is suitable for families, and is a perfect starting point for hiking and activities in inner Nordfjord.

Loen paradise

Beautiful place by the lake, short distance to most places. The cabin is located between Stryn and Loen, 4 min drive from both roads. The cabin is newly renovated, new kitchen, bathroom and loft with 2 double beds. There is some traffic noise in the summer. There is a small hot water tank, not everyone can shower after each other.
