Tucked away in the historic Bluffton neighborhood, our home is a 5 minute (.4 mile) walk to Pere Marquette Beach on Lake Michigan. Opposite direction, you will be on the bank of Muskegon Lake where you can drop your kayak or paddleboard in for a cruise. If you have a boat, there is a public launch less than a mile away as well as a public bike trail along Muskegon Lake that leads to downtown. Finally, Third Coast Cottage is a 30 min drive to Michigan Adventure and the Winter Sports Complex.

Beachwood Cottage is perfectly situated on the peninsula between the lakes. Take a 10 min walk to a wide Lake MI beach, or ride our 6 BIKES to Pere Marquette, the Deck, or along the gorgeous Muskegon Lakeside trail. Relax in the privacy of the backyard for coffee in the morning and campfires at night. Basement is set up for fun and games with regulation ping pong, darts, bar and 50" TV. Beach towels, chairs, and sand toys provided! Fully updated throughout with new beds, furniture and decor.

This a cozy first floor walk out basement apartment in a 2 unit two blocks from Lake Michigan or Muskegon lake. Please note that the kitchen does not have a stove or oven. Our cottage is footsteps from the lake, beach and dock. Only minutes to Duck Lake State Park and Lake Michigan beaches. Perfect for a great getaway to relax and enjoy the peaceful setting. It’s not just a summer place, come enjoy the fall colors with incredible views of Duck Lake State Park. The cottage is equipped with kayaks,canoes ,peddle boats and a stand-up paddleboard. This is a no smoking and no pets allowed property.

D & R Country Cottage

Relax with the family or friends at this peaceful, secluded cottage. Five minutes from US 31 highway and Whitehall yet completely in a country setting. Fifteen minutes from Michigan Adventures, Bluelake Fine Arts Camp and Owasippe Boy Scout camp. Close to the Manistee National forest. We are 10 minutes from quaint Whitehall, Whitelake and Montague Michigan. Lake Michigan beaches are just 15 minutes away.

Here you’ll find the perfect place to unplug for a couple of days of peace and tranquility. We’ve also recently added a prayer chapel along the side of our home for our family, friends and treehouse guests to have a special place to pray and connect with God if you would like.
