The name "Hwa-yeong" was created by comparing the flower that lives between the asphalt and concrete buildings to a flower blooming in the asphalt. In order to embody the flower that runs through Hwaeng, it is expressed concisely and clearly without losing the balance of yin and yang, and the beauty of symmetry and modernity, based on the materials that embodied the image of the Korean flower in the past. When you enter the house, the open living room spreads out, and the wonderful view of Wolbongsan Mountain seen from the window gives you healing. There is also a pine forest promenade around the accommodation, so you can take a slow walk and feel the relaxed charm of Changpyeong. We wanted to balance the familiarity of everyday life with the novelty of travel. Please take the time to feel the warmth and freshness in the combination of modern furniture that has been completed in the rafters of the hanok, which has been piled up over the years. You can sit on the floor or sofa and enjoy tea while listening to music. Enjoy a warm tea and reflection while touching the carefully crafted furniture. The book is prepared as a manuscript focusing on architecture, interior, flowers, plants, and photography. I hope that the sensual images encountered at the travel destination will become a new vitality in everyday life.

'Saro' was inspired by the discovery of this hanok in a small alley where a few 1970s hanoks are gathered in Seohak Artist Village. Based on the experience of operating hanok accommodations for the past 9 years, we created it with the theme of 'Hyunseo's Hanok' by combining modern and functional elements while inheriting the symbolic elements of hanok.
