This is a private rental inn surrounded by the rich nature of the Iizuna Highlands. It was built in 1998, the year of the Nagano Olympics, at an altitude of 1200 m. The traditional wooden building, finished without a single nail, was completed by a renowned architect and a master carpenter. It is a calm space where you can feel the warmth of the craftsmanship. The strong yet delicate wooden frame, natural light through the shoji, and the shadows created by Isamu Noguchi's AKARI lighting create a beautiful fusion of tradition and modernity. The interior walls are made of Tosa plaster by artisans. You can have a comfortable stay regardless of the season, surrounded by the scent of cedar and cypress. The size is 195 ㎡. There are 4 Japanese-style rooms with 8 tatami mats that can accommodate up to 10 people. This place is perfect for those who want to experience the beauty and tranquility of Japan. Iizuna Kogen, where you can enjoy the seasonal nature. Beautiful green summer, colorful autumn leaves, and winter with snow-covered scenery - you can feel a different charm every time you visit. As a special experience only this summer, we are offering free blueberry picking for a limited period from 10 July to mid-August. Please enjoy the sweet and sour taste of the freshly picked fruit. From summer to early autumn, the coolness unique to the highland at an altitude of 1,000 m is particularly noticeable. At night, the temperature drops sharply, making the tropical nights of the city seem like a distant memory, and you can spend a comfortable night with a blanket close to hand. A newly built villa for rent as a whole, with a quiet forest garden covering more than 100 tsubo (1,500 m²). Honjuku has been featured in "Tabi Salad" and "Ariyoshi no Kabe". Please relax and unwind in the spacious and quiet rooms. After enjoying a sauna that warms your body from the core, cool down in the jacuzzi. There is a gas BBQ grill (for a fee) on the large wooden deck, where you can even enjoy a breath of fresh air while looking out at the forest. Enjoy a premium sauna and glamping experience. In front of the wooden deck, there is a space where you can spend time enjoying nature, such as chatting or reading around a campfire. The living room is equipped with a projector (NETFLIX). There is a spiral staircase right in front of you when you enter the front door.You can experience something out of the ordinary in a space furnished with exquisite pieces. We rent another house in the town where we live.Instead of a TV, there is a grand piano, picture books, and a forest full of windows. 8weeks Fujimi is a house quietly located at the foot of Fujimi Panorama Resort. Listen to the babbling of the stream and the refreshing wind of the highland during the day, and gaze at the moonlight with a warm drink in hand at night.An unusual villa with a grand piano interior with a cabin interior creates an unusual, yet familiar space. We moved from the city with our one-year-old daughter in 2020, and we were so fascinated by Fujimi-cho that we decided to move in eight weeks.We had a luxurious time in the abundance of nature, and by the time it was eight weeks, we felt like we would "continue to live in this town".We named it "8 weeks" from the desire to have a "stay here". I have lived in this house with my 6-year-old daughter, so small children can stay with peace of mind.We are careful not to put anything that is likely to be dropped or bumped, and we also have a variety of picture books, musical instruments, and toys.

It is 60 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Karuizawa, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so you can work in the morning and take a half-day off in the afternoon, for example.
