If you want to know a real Douro Quinta, where real people makes real wine in a real winery, we´ll make the best to receive you well. We are in Upper Douro, where the massive tourism didn´t arrive, right beside the Douro river. This is one of our 3 rooms. It has an air-conditioned, private WC (though out of the room) and a guitar. No TV. But we have a river, a boat, food, wine and the aim of making this an inspiration place.

O apartamento está localizado na aldeia de Nagoselo do Douro, no coração da região demarcada do Douro. Aqui pode desfrutar de uma experiência rural com uma vista única sobre esta paisagem inesquecível. Conta com uma praia fluvial para refrescantes momentos e belas rotas para caminhadas e fotografia pelas vinhas.
What guests are saying:“We really enjoyed our stay at Leonor’s place. We were the first guests in their brand new apartment and everything was new and crispy clean. The place is bright and spacious, it’s on the high second floor, and although the views were amazing, I would not suggest it to someone who has issues with climbing the stairs. My favorite memory is the view from the bedroom’s window, I just couldn’t take my eyes of it. Also, the bells tolling every hour, gave a very special feeling to the place. But most important was an amazing hospitality of Isabel and Irene, our host’s aunts. They were so welcoming, kind, and generous that it made our stay very special and left the fondest memories. The village itself is quite remote, about 40 min driving from Pinhao, and has very authentic atmosphere. The driving on mountain roads at Douro valley is not simple, with some sharp blind turns and requires a lot of skill and focus, but it rewarded with the beautiful views and places that you wouldn’t reach otherwise.”

What guests are saying:“We loved our stay at this cute cottage in an absolutely gorgeous setting on an actual quinta! It's very clean and looks like it's been recently updated. The little kitchen is well stocked to make a quick breakfast and the host provided a welcome basket of bread, eggs, and even port, which was so nice! The road up to the quinta from Pinhao is a bit windy and steep, but well-paved. The views from the patio is unreal and absolutely the highlight of the place. The host's family lives in a different house on the property and they have 2 dogs, who surprised us in the driveway when we first arrived, but they were friendly and we didn't see them again during our stay. Communication was easy and the host even prepared a useful booklet with suggestions for restaurants and sights in the area! Would definitely recommend this house for a very authentic Douro experience!”
