Coastal paradise for kids, dogs and grownups

One of the original hilltop cottages in Nambucca Heads with views of the coastline and river. There’s a great cafe, a fab spot to jump in the water or launch a paddle board, BBQs, foreshore walks and tennis courts at the bottom of the street. Swim at Shelley - a top 10 Australian beach. Surf at Main Beach (has life guards). Walk your dog from Swimming Creek Beach to Valla. We have a big TV (with Netflix), table tennis, books, and a hammock. We have lots of adventure tips to share with guests.

Our place is 6 acres of native forest next to a pristine lake, within easy walking distance of beautiful, uncrowded beaches. We are close to the village of Urunga, and a half-hour drive from Coffs Harbour airport. Enjoy the privacy, views, and the quiet, natural surroundings. We welcome families, couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. The two storey unit (17 steps) has a bedroom with ensuite, lounge-room, and private balcony with BBQ. Both our red & green carriages are modeled from the balcony ended tram car Built by Great Eastern Railways, England in 1884. The tram car was built for the Wisebec to Upwell line. Diane & I have built this unique accommodation from the ground up overlooking the NSW North Coast Railway line.
