Captain's House | Monte Grosso, Elba

The Casa del Capitano is located on the top of Monte Grosso in the National park of the tuscan archipelago. The location is unique on the island and from here you have a fantastic view of the city of Portoferraio, Piombino, Corsica, Capraia and Gorgona. The house was restored during a project lasting several years, in close collaboration with the National Park and was designed to be self-sufficient and ecological. Here you use purely the energy of the sun, without having to renounce luxury.

Casa Anto, completely renovated in 2025, consists of a living room with a sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchen. The room cannot be darkened. There are two bedrooms with double beds and two bathrooms, one of which is en-suite. The house is accessed by an external staircase. From winter to summer you never get tired of sitting on the balcony admiring the sea: the boats that enter the port or that leave for their journey, the people, the tourists, the fishermen... after a few days you too will have learned to recognize them and they will keep you company on your vacation
