The cabin has no power or running water, but is equipped with solar power and a kitchen with a gas-powered refrigerator, stove and cooktop. Water is collected below the cabin. It is about 400 meters to walk from the parking lot at E10. The annex is a few meters away and has a bedroom, sauna and shower. The shower water is heated by a sauna stove. The cabin is best suited for 2–4 people who want a simple and genuine mountain cabin experience.

There is a similar apartment opposite, if you are more people. The apartment is located in Skarstad 35 km from Ballangen city center where there is a grocery store and gas station etc.

The location is ideal, with proximity to Skarberget -Bognes and Kjøpsvik- Drag ferry connection. There is a washing machine, dishwasher and wifi in the cabin, as well as bed linen and towels. If you want an extra bedroom, the caravan outside the cabin can be rented for NOK 500 per night. There is the possibility of renting a boat.
