Cottage with astonishing view in tranquil surroundings. Short distance to the fjord and a rowboat is available during the summer months. The cabin has a mini kitchen, fridge, small oven and microwave. No dishwasher. Bathroom with shower and toilet, heating in the floor. Living room with lounge group, dining table and a cozy fireplace. The bedrooms are very small. Covered porch with outdoor furniture. Bed linen and towels are not included. When snow, you have to park by the road and walk the last 50 meters up to the cabin. Parking at the cabin during summer.

In this place you live at the top of the orchard at the farm Påldtun. Here you can enjoy a nice view of the fjord and mountains. There is a short distance to the jetty. Here you can rent a boat and sauna or take a morning swim. You will experience life in the village with grazing animals and work that takes place in the season. When you stay in our orchard you are free to pick and eat the fruit that is on the farm. Short distance to Sandane city center. We accept bookings for mountain trips/fishing trips in our local area. If you want a day trip to famous attractions, you can drive to Geiranger, Via Ferrata & Loen Skylift, Kannesteinen, Refviksanden, Krakenes Lighthouse, Hakallegarden or the Alps. Here you are surrounded by high mountains, a lake, rivers and waterfalls. The area are good for trout fishing, and it's possible for the guests to rent a boat during the summer. If you like hiking, there are many great routs in the area. If you just are looking for silence and beautiful scenery, just sit down and enjoy!

The old house at Solnes Gard

Part of a duplex on an active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents received the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from around 1950. We live in the other part of the house. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 7 alpacas and many goats on the farm, you can join in the care if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life.
