Very cozy wooden house room, the yard is also chic, the restaurant atmosphere of the resort is very good, and the dishes are a little slow.Overall it was worth it and I hope to come back again if I have the opportunity.

Peaceful and the attention to detail in Mel's houses are incredible. Comfy bed. Great cooking equipment. AC. I can't recommend this place enough if you want escape the concrete jungle of condos. Mel also can arrange bikes or scooters.

This place was absolutely amazing and well worth the price paid. Directly on a white sand beach in front of a protected marine reserve with fantastic snorkeling. Walking distance to fabulous restaurants, local shopping, and small mom and pop grocery stores. Close to all the main attractions on Siquijor. The 3 full time staff were amazing, especially Ricky. They keep the pool and grounds spotless, are there to accommodate your every request yet are not intrusive and respect your privacy. The sunsets from the beach are incredible. The rooms are small and simple, yet clean and comfortable with every modern amenity you may need. We ordered breakfast from the restaurant across the street (Luca Loco) several mornings and they delivered it to us on the beach. We had a blast in the pool as well. On a scale of 1-10, I rate Casa Juan del Barrio a 12. We will definitely be back next time we visit Siquijor.

Thank You Leah, your mom and to the rest of the staff especially Junior!! It was an amazing stay, felt like home and most of all my pet chiki enjoyed it the most. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The room is clean the design of the villa is well planned. The area is peaceful yet walking distance to the main area of panagsama. Extra patience on the road going in if you bring a car as it is small road though locals are very willing to help and adjust 😉. Overall, a great stay and would definitely come back. A hidden paradise, highly recommended!

The place was beautiful and spacious. Perfect if you want to relax and wanted a home away from home. The hosts were very accomodating and answers our queries in a timely manner. The place is also very clean and had a great homey vibes. Walking distance from the beach which we all love. Will definitely recommend this place to my friends.

We had a really nice time! The view is amazing – it was a dream to wake up every morning. Mimi was always there for us and always responded within a few minutes. Once we had ants in the kitchen, she came right by to clean, and with a spray we got, the problem was solved. The dogs and cats were absolutely sweet and quiet – every time we saw them, the heart opened up for us. The room was also small, but with lots of storage space very convenient. The shower was good and we really appreciated the drinking water dispenser. It was very hot, and since there is no air conditioning, remote work can be challenging. At night it was perfect for us with the fan and we slept well. The roads to the accommodation were better than expected, even for me as a scooter beginner no problem – even in the dark. And it's even being built! We loved the location! Thanks Mimi!
