The Hideaway

Beautifully appointed rural getaway. Perfect for Couples looking to unwind and relax. This detached dwelling has an en-suite bedroom with garden views and a separate living room with a kitchenette, table, sofa and TV. The outside area has a picnic bench and an area to store bicycles. The property is adjacent to Aylesbeare Common, a wildlife haven offering ample hiking trails and only a 15 minute drive to the seaside town of Sidmouth or 20 minutes from Exmouth. Exeter is 30 minutes by car.

The Coach house is recently renovated to a very high standard. It consists of a living room with plenty of seating, wood burner, free supply of logs, under floor heating, a dining room that opens into our extensive gardens, a bathroom with shower, separate bath and plenty of fluffy towels and a large upstairs bedroom with seating area with views over the River Otter and garden. It is ideal for a couple/ young family as there is a cot and single bed, available in the bedroom area.

This lovely spacious cottage is adjacent to the owner's house, set in 3 acres of gardens and beautiful countryside in the heart of the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It's a great base for walking, cycling, touring, shopping, eating and drinking ...and curling up in front of the log fire. Sidbury village is a 20 min walk away. And Sidmouth, on the Jurassic Coast, is just a 4 mile drive. A few days at Filcombe will leave you relaxed, refreshed and keen to come back!

Honeysuckle Cottage

The cottage was renovated in 2021. The cottage is lovely bright & airly open plan with a new kitchen & central heating throughout. Upstairs theres a family bathroom & master bedroom with a double bed. The second bedroom although its a bunk bed the top bunk is a bit of tight squeeze so definitely couldn't take an adult. All towels and linen included (apart from beach towels). Outside there is a private patio & shared grassed area with picturesque stream at the bottom.

Wildflower Bungalow, Moor View, Exmouth Rd, Exeter

Relax in an comfortable open planned space that has been finished and furnished to the highest standard, with central heating, oak wooden floors and LED downlights throughout. Outside exists a large private sun-trap patio and garden, and parking for two cars. This unique setting and all year rental makes it an ideal retreat for all. Set within the grounds of our old rectory, the Coach House provides a wonderful retreat near to the East Devon coast. We provide a high standard of accommodation perfect for families, with a King-size bed in one room and 2 single beds in the second bedroom. Relax in the cosy and modern living area with fast WiFi. Those who are staying in the Coach House are welcome to have a swim in our heated pool each day (mid May - mid Sept)
