Nature Dive House¬Tree House Like

SavannahRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Saskia is so kind and fun. I'm grateful for my time on her beautiful property. She was very accommodating when I decided to leave early, after seeing how much Nosara has changed. Her land is a haven, tucked away from the bustle in Guiones. So much natural beauty, and lots and lots of animals (dogs, horses, chickens). I would recommend a vehicle if you want to be involved in what's going on around town. I wasn't super comfortable cooking in the kitchen (not the cleanest and only teflon pans), but there's a blender and fridge for fruit, etc. I stayed in the treehouse room, which is so beautiful and open, with the comfiest hammock. Just note that the roosters crow in the trees for like an hour in the early morning (and often sporadically throughout the night). I would absolutely come back for a few days, just with different expectations (and maybe a bike) :)

Jungle Casita 3km to Jaco beach & town center

MarylouRating, 5 stars2 months ago
the place was incredibly clean and relaxing, lying in the hammock I could admire the hundreds of birds walking in front of me in the trees. the neighborhood is very beautiful, the beds comfortable and clean. the place is extremely charming and authentic. I do recommend a 4x4 to access it and the markets are sports to ride with suitcases but for me it is part of the experience! Thank you paola!

Treehouse Log Cabins Enhacore

NinaRating, 5 stars25 months ago
Words do not exist to even begin to explain how truly incredible Andrea’s cabins are. Such a beautiful, private and relaxing oasis. Just far enough from civilization to be able to fully enjoy the peace and quiet that is in Valle Azul but also so conveniently close to many fun attractions nearby. Such as the Arenal Volcano & hot springs. Also close to Ciudad Quesada city. We could see tucans, iguanas & so many more beautiful animals from our very own balcony. We were also able to pick our very own fruits from the trees on the property! So delicious. To top it off Andrea was such an amazing host, always attentive to our needs whatever they may be. She responded to all of our messages and/or in person questions immediately. She gave us such great advice on where to go and what to do. Always kept up with all of our needs in the cabin. She truly went above and beyond for us & we will definitely be coming back!

Ocean View Jungle Tree House - 3BR

JimRating, 5 stars3 months ago
La Casa Margarita was everything it was listed to be. It has an open layout with a creative floor plan. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, plans, cutlery, & storage containers, as well as blenders, toaster oven, and other cooking appliances. We had no trouble accessing the property, but 4-wheel drive would be advisable – both for here and for accessing some of the beach locations. Waze/Google get you close, but you will need to be shown the last turns the first time. The Paraiso grocery store next to the soccer field carries most of the basics you will need. Although we have been to CR about 10 times, this was our first time in the Guanacaste region. It was hot (90F+) and dry. Fortunately, there was quite a breeze and the heat never felt oppressive. Few bugs, and those that were there weren’t of the biting kind. Howler monkeys were easily visible from the decks almost every day & Turquoise-browed Motmot, Scissor-tailed Flycatcher, & Streaked-backed Oriole were frequent visitors.

Ocean View Luxury Tree House

KerryRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Where to start?! Yes the place is amazing of course but you can’t beat a host that is ACTUALLY a h o s t. I’ve stayed at many airbnbs and none of the hosts were as hospitable as David was! We didn’t realize how secluded the house actually was and wasn’t able to obtain our rental car reservation… we were stuck to relying on “taxis” to get to and from things… after trying for literal hours to no avail… David called on one of his buddies to help us. If it wasn’t for David and his friends help we would’ve been stuck up there with no way to enjoy this country! David’s beautiful home and the sounds of the howler monkeys made my birthday spectacular. Just the peace I’ve been needing. I forgot I had mentioned to David that this was a birthday trip and he made sure to get me a birthday cake when I arrived again… unbelievably hospitable! Couldn’t thank him enough! Thanks again David we will be back and can’t wait to be in contact again!

Pochotemar House

AshlynRating, 5 stars4 months ago
This house was absolutely stunning. Words won’t do it justice. I think this is the most gorgeous air bnb I’ve ever stayed in. One morning we saw 20 monkeys swing from tree to tree in front of the porch that also has an ocean view. The cabinetry and design was breathtaking. Matias was so responsive and helpful. The place was spotless. My family was so impressed with my Air bnb selection and we had the best vacation. Highly recommend staying here! Definitely get a 4x4 because the road to the place is no joke. And you will need it for all the other exploring too! Can’t wait to come back.

Low season deal: Design 7 Meters High in the Trees

LukeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This spot is maybe the dreamiest, most unique and gorgeous place I've stayed at. The wonderful indoor/outdoor concept makes you feel like you are completely immersed in the nature surrounding the property. The pool is deep, offering the perfect spot to cool off and refresh. The bedrooms are comfortable and the kitchen offers everything you might need! The guard who lives on the plot (not effecting the privacy of the house) added an extra level to "peace of mind". Note: In unit washer & dryer is no longer offered here (I think as of very recently as we had seen it offered when we booked) so keep in mind when booking a stay for more than a few days.

Deluxe Tree house! Jacuzzi and ocean view!

TimothyRating, 5 stars6 days ago
What a spectacular place! The views were stunning, and the privacy was unmatched. The extra touches, stocked frig with water, soda, bottle of wine, coffee after a long day of traveling was refreshing! We loved the hot tub after a long day of zip lining & hiking! Thank you for the recommendations during our stay. Choco Cafe & Orchids were our favorite coffee & restaurant. The Don Juan Coffee Tour was our favorite outing. Thank you again for making our stay amazing!

Tiny Jungle Tiny House Brand New Listing

AntoniaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We enjoyed the time at the Airbnb very much. Raquel and her husband were super sweet and friendly and gave us tips on what to do in the area. The beaches nearby were very nice and quiet. The tiny house was really great and you had a great view. The house was lovingly furnished and cozy. It was just a bit too warm for us when sleeping without air conditioning, but otherwise everything was perfect.

Camaleon Suite, Monteverde Jacuzzi and Pool.

BrianRating, 5 stars1 week ago
As first time Airbnbers we weren't quite sure what to expect. Our booking got off to a fantastic start with Licni and José reaching out multiple times in advance to ensure that they could provide us with excellent accommodations, which they did! The location itself immediately takes your breath away as soon as you walk in the door. Everything is impeccably clean and the room is welcoming. You are bound to see wildlife during your stay along with the breathtaking views. The kitchen is well supplied with anything you need to make a simple meal or even something a little more complex. The new pool and sitting area are a fantastic addition to the location. Licni and José were always available if we needed anything and were fun to communicate with. We truly feel like we are leaving home away from home. We absolutely would book this again!

A hanging studio 650 meters from Santa Teresa Beach

MarkRating, 5 stars1 week ago
so santa theresa.. Its not for everone, but it sure was for us. If you'd like to be perched in a glass enclosed bungalo in the costa rican jungle, minutes for town and the beaches, this place is for you! Affordably priced, super clean. Alvero, the Argentine owner, couldnt have been nicer, accomodating our early arrival and often around to give us advice on everything to see and do around santa theresa. Of couse, a big part of what S.T. is about is the surfing and it did not dissapoint! If your visit is a Rite of passage, or maybe your future home, stay with Alvero to take it all in!

Casita Almendro

KatherineRating, 5 stars16 months ago
The property is absolutely beautiful! The surroundings and the views are stunning. Lots of wildlife! The cabin and all of the common spaces are so well thought out. You can tell a lot of intention was put into every detail. Very good energy here and I felt very welcome. The hosts were very communicative and helpful! They had an event going on and family in town, but still took time to accommodate us. I was fortunate to do some treatments with Anne. She has such a calming presence and her spa is beyond! She has very unique, advanced offerings! Samantha was also super sweet and helpful and has a very good knowledge of Costa Rica and gave great recommendations. I will definitely return to this place and I would love to plan a retreat and come back with a group. Thank you for everything :)!

Loved our stay in this little slice of paradise in nature! An experience to do if you want to live the jungle life with the monkeys, birds, etc. A 4x4 is more than necessary given the condition of the roads to get there but it is part of the experience. Thanks again to Sebastian who always has summer available.

It was amazing we saw SO MUCH WILDLIFE .. like omg. Heaven. Suspension bridges a walk away and free breakfast and the blue hibiscus.. I didn’t realize it was a hotel-Esque type place, which actually was a nice surprise. Front desk was a ton of help.. house keeping, food delivery etc. idk how that works with Airbnb but I’m not mad about it Really awesome experience. The volcano was gorgeous

Jungle Living Tree House Capuchin Monkey

KasiaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Staying at Treetops was like stepping into a dream. Surrounded by lush greenery and the peaceful sounds of nature, this place is a true retreat. Waking up to birdsong and watching animals from the balcony was unforgettable. The house is beautifully designed to blend with the environment—open, airy, and full of natural light. Every detail felt intentional and eco-conscious. We especially loved relaxing in the hammock and watching the night sky through the trees. If you love nature and want a unique, serene experience, Treetops is absolutely amazing. We didn’t want to leave!

We’ve stayed with Jessica a few times in the past and this time did not disappoint, as usual! The place was spotless upon arrival and really comfortable. The view from the deck is even better than what can be captured by the photos. It’s the busiest time of year in ST and Jessica’s place is so close to town and yet very quiet, away from the noise and dust. Atv recommended to get up the hill, as the listing says. Host is super responsive and can hook you up with atv rentals, etc! Thanks for another amazing stay!

Private Romantic Honeymoon Dome Jacuzzi/AC

EricRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We stayed for one night here and really enjoyed it. It’s a small remote glamping area with a botique resort feel but also our dome felt very private. We were well welcomed and they provided an excellent additional breakfast for us. We ordered delivery from the reccomended restaurant nearby and had it delivered straight to the dome and it was delicious. In the common area they had a nice pool, hammocks, and a spot to read and watch the sunset. Hosts were very easy to communicate with and we watched the beautiful sunset from our dome and felt like we were sleeping out in nature. The mini-split AC kept us cool inside. The drive up to there was a little challenging so a 4x4 4WD is reccomended and offline Google or Waze maps. We feel like we could have easily enjoyed another day there.
