Nature Dive House¬Tree House Like

SavannahRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Saskia is so kind and fun. I'm grateful for my time on her beautiful property. She was very accommodating when I decided to leave early, after seeing how much Nosara has changed. Her land is a haven, tucked away from the bustle in Guiones. So much natural beauty, and lots and lots of animals (dogs, horses, chickens). I would recommend a vehicle if you want to be involved in what's going on around town. I wasn't super comfortable cooking in the kitchen (not the cleanest and only teflon pans), but there's a blender and fridge for fruit, etc. I stayed in the treehouse room, which is so beautiful and open, with the comfiest hammock. Just note that the roosters crow in the trees for like an hour in the early morning (and often sporadically throughout the night). I would absolutely come back for a few days, just with different expectations (and maybe a bike) :)

Jungle Casita 3km to Jaco beach & town center

Loved our stay! Make sure you know before you go that there is no hot water! We boiled water and it used washcloths so it was fine but this was something we didn’t know. There are tons of ants and the cracks don’t seal in the doors so use the mosquito nets. We had THE BEST massage from Paolo’s organization and I highly recommend that! One day we came back and there was animal poop in the sink because the kitchen is outside haha 😆 all part of the jungle experience!

Ocean View Jungle Tree House - 3BR

JimRating, 5 stars2 months ago
La Casa Margarita was everything it was listed to be. It has an open layout with a creative floor plan. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, plans, cutlery, & storage containers, as well as blenders, toaster oven, and other cooking appliances. We had no trouble accessing the property, but 4-wheel drive would be advisable – both for here and for accessing some of the beach locations. Waze/Google get you close, but you will need to be shown the last turns the first time. The Paraiso grocery store next to the soccer field carries most of the basics you will need. Although we have been to CR about 10 times, this was our first time in the Guanacaste region. It was hot (90F+) and dry. Fortunately, there was quite a breeze and the heat never felt oppressive. Few bugs, and those that were there weren’t of the biting kind. Howler monkeys were easily visible from the decks almost every day & Turquoise-browed Motmot, Scissor-tailed Flycatcher, & Streaked-backed Oriole were frequent visitors.

Cloud Forest Cabin Retreat

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible Airbnb, and I can’t say enough good things about it! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the charm and uniqueness of the property—it’s clear that every detail was thoughtfully designed to create a welcoming and unforgettable experience. The space was impeccably clean, cozy, and packed with all the amenities I could possibly need, making it feel like a true home away from home. The location was perfect, offering easy access to local attractions while still providing a peaceful retreat to unwind. The host was an absolute gem—super responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was flawless. Highly recommend to anyone browsing Airbnb for a standout stay!

Ocean View Luxury Tree House

SverreRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Our stay at the treehouse was beyond perfect. David has built a really special treehouse that is the ideal getaway for a couple. Every detail was thought out carefully to build an AMAZING getaway that truly is one of a kind. This was our second time in Costa Rica, and we planned to elope on this trip. We shared our vows on the top balcony one evening as the howler monkeys were sceaming out their approval and it felt really special. This is our second time in Costa Rica, doing a mix of air bnbs and hotels/resorts. David and his treehouse stands out as the best accomodations we have had, by a longshot. The quality of the treehouse exceeds expectations and David put alot of effort into the small details that make your stay even better. The pictures of this place look amazing, and it somehow manages to exceed already high expectations. If anyone is considering a stay here I HIGHLY reccomend it. This is a really special place, and the value of staying here can not be overstated.

Pochotemar House

This house was absolutely stunning. Words won’t do it justice. I think this is the most gorgeous air bnb I’ve ever stayed in. One morning we saw 20 monkeys swing from tree to tree in front of the porch that also has an ocean view. The cabinetry and design was breathtaking. Matias was so responsive and helpful. The place was spotless. My family was so impressed with my Air bnb selection and we had the best vacation. Highly recommend staying here! Definitely get a 4x4 because the road to the place is no joke. And you will need it for all the other exploring too! Can’t wait to come back.

Tiny Jungle Tiny House Brand New Listing

AntoniaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We enjoyed the time at the Airbnb very much. Raquel and her husband were super sweet and friendly and gave us tips on what to do in the area. The beaches nearby were very nice and quiet. The tiny house was really great and you had a great view. The house was lovingly furnished and cozy. It was just a bit too warm for us when sleeping without air conditioning, but otherwise everything was perfect.

Camaleon Suite, Monteverde Jacuzzi and Pool.

EricRating, 5 stars4 days ago
INCREDIBLE! We stayed at 4 AirBnBs in Costa Rica over the course of the week and this one was the BEST. From the moment we arrived and opened the door to this beautiful view we know we wanted more time! The hosts were so accommodating and quick to respond with answers to our questions. We had an incredible dinner nearby and enjoyed the perfect sunset view in the hills. The hosts allowed us to use the new waterfall pool they installed right outside the door and it was awesome. My wife and I have stayed at over a dozen or so airbnbs together and this one is our favorite by far. We decided to make this our last airbnb for our week-long trip and it did not disappoint. Yes, it’s higher priced but it’s so worth it for the 10ft sliding doors, floor to ceiling panoramic windows, encased glass shower, everything is pristine! Follow the hosts directions on how to get into the place since the last section of it is on a rocky road and you’ll be fine. I hope to return again!!

A hanging studio 650 meters from Santa Teresa Beach

AmalieRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed the beautiful sanctuary it offered us. Alvaro was so helpful with all that we needed. Only a few minutes from town, you feel completely in nature. We spent lots of time watching the monkeys and just enjoying the peacefulness. It is an amazing view to wake up to. The outside bathroom is so cute. Highly recommend and would definitely come stay again. You would need a good vehicle to make it up and down, but we had no issues on our motos.

The property is absolutely beautiful! The surroundings and the views are stunning. Lots of wildlife! The cabin and all of the common spaces are so well thought out. You can tell a lot of intention was put into every detail. Very good energy here and I felt very welcome. The hosts were very communicative and helpful! They had an event going on and family in town, but still took time to accommodate us. I was fortunate to do some treatments with Anne. She has such a calming presence and her spa is beyond! She has very unique, advanced offerings! Samantha was also super sweet and helpful and has a very good knowledge of Costa Rica and gave great recommendations. I will definitely return to this place and I would love to plan a retreat and come back with a group. Thank you for everything :)!

Spectacular Arenal Volcano Views Guarumo Tree Room

DougRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a wonderful time here, and would highly recommend it. The listing is part of Sangregado Lodge, and is across the parking lot from Mistico Hanging Bridges, behind the guard gate. This allowed us to have easy access to the bridges first thing in the morning before they were crowded, and for the night tour. The only downside was that as the area gets crowded during the day, coming and going mid-day can take some time as the road gets congested. As for the room itself, the pictures do not do it justice! An entire wall is windows, which look out to a deck and beautiful hills, forest, and the Arenal volcano. We had Amazon parrots and other wildlife right outside our room - one night a mot mot even rested on our deck railing. There were screen doors, so we slept every night with the glass doors open and listened to sounds of the forest. Everything was very clean and well-kept. A special thanks to Francisco, who was so friendly and even tried to spot a rare bird for us. Thanks again!

Oceanview Treetop Villa view the surf, AC, smartTV

We’ve stayed with Jessica a few times in the past and this time did not disappoint, as usual! The place was spotless upon arrival and really comfortable. The view from the deck is even better than what can be captured by the photos. It’s the busiest time of year in ST and Jessica’s place is so close to town and yet very quiet, away from the noise and dust. Atv recommended to get up the hill, as the listing says. Host is super responsive and can hook you up with atv rentals, etc! Thanks for another amazing stay!

Private Romantic Jungle Honeymoon Dome Jacuzzi/AC

EricRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We stayed for one night here and really enjoyed it. It’s a small remote glamping area with a botique resort feel but also our dome felt very private. We were well welcomed and they provided an excellent additional breakfast for us. We ordered delivery from the reccomended restaurant nearby and had it delivered straight to the dome and it was delicious. In the common area they had a nice pool, hammocks, and a spot to read and watch the sunset. Hosts were very easy to communicate with and we watched the beautiful sunset from our dome and felt like we were sleeping out in nature. The mini-split AC kept us cool inside. The drive up to there was a little challenging so a 4x4 4WD is reccomended and offline Google or Waze maps. We feel like we could have easily enjoyed another day there.

Treehouse in Hermosa, Cóbano – Jungle Escape

AliciaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We really had a great time at this Air bnb. The location is a little out of the way but easily accessible with a suitable vehicle, and we really liked the quiet location. The large terrace was my personal highlight. From there we were able to observe monkeys and other animals. Andres is a kind person who was always happy to help us with any questions or concerns. Thank youu so much for everything!
