It has been more than 145 years old and has been registered as a nationally registered tangible cultural property. In addition, the wooden building is a self-renovated building with the interior renovated by the owner and friends. It is a private lodging where you can feel the history of Niigata, located in the back of a narrow alley in Niigata. Please also let us know in advance if you are bringing small children. If you need to sleep with your child, we will attach the bed and install a baby gate for safety. We will meet you in person at check-in. At that time, we will explain the facility and make a record of it. Please ask us for sightseeing information at check-in. It is a facility where you can fully enjoy Niigata City. This is a house with a superb view overlooking Lake Nojiri. There are several ski slopes (Myoko, Kurohime, and Masao), about 15-20 minutes away, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy a wood-burning sauna and a stunning water bath. There are no private houses around, so you can also watch music and movies with loud noise. Because it is a house nestled deep in the mountains, we do our best, but there are insects during the warmer months.It snows a lot in winter.In autumn, the leaves are dancing. You must also adjust the fire in the wood stove yourself. It's never an easy home to live in, but with a great view and experience. There is a full counter kitchen with stunning views and condiments and cookers so you can enjoy cooking.(No BBQ equipment)
