Gîte de l'Abbaye d'Etrun and its green park

The cottage is the oldest house in the village, it guarded the entrance to the Abbey of the Benedictines of Etrun. The Abbey was founded in 980 and destroyed during the revolution in 1789. The whole has been listed as a Historic Monument. In 1815 Cardinal De La TOUR d'AUVERGNE decided to build his "Summer Residence" of which the surrounding walls still exist, as well as some period elements. In 1915, General Pétain made it his headquarters and commanded the Battle of Artois from these places.

The estate's annex

Located in the Flemish countryside within the estate of the 1778 ingelshof manor. This atypical accommodation brings all comfort and cocooning in a green setting. 35 minutes from Lille and 20 minutes from Dunkirk and its beaches. 5 minutes from Belgium and 40 minutes from the Channel Tunnel or Bruges. It's a very quiet place, close to nature, in the middle of the "Monts des Flandres". Rest, hiking or sightseeing: everyone will find it's own. Near Belgium: Ypres (WW1 commemorations) at 30 min. The house is in the heart of nature: in the middle of a meadow, close to tall trees and a water point. A peaceful, relaxing place. An ideal base for hikes or to more touristic sites. On request, breakfast: 13 euros/person: to be booked before arrival

Located in the center of Armentières and 300 m from the train station, you can enjoy all the shops around the cinema, but you will also be 15 min from Lille by taking the train. This accommodation can accommodate workers, travelers or simply people wishing to enjoy all the amenities present in this apartment. In this 35 m2 you can enjoy a sauna, a spa bath, a shower, a fully equipped kitchen, a TV with Netflix and a 160 x 200 bed.
