On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

Quiet, peaceful, with a fantastic view of the fjord and mountains, 10 m from the water's edge. 70 m2 plus a large room on the jetty level. Unique layout, large window surfaces, and multi-level rooms. One bedroom with a double bed, and a large sofa bed in the loft/TV room. Tiled bathroom by bedroom. The basement has a double door, a view of the fjord, and its own toilet/laundry room and fridge/freezer.

Our cabin, "Bjørkeli", is located undisturbed in Engeskaret in Almestranda, and has panoramic views of the beautiful Vartdalsfjorden and the majestic Sunnmørsalps. Here you wake up to birdsong and can enjoy nature and morning coffee on the spacious terrace. The cabin has new, comfortable outdoor furniture, fire pan and barbecue. The place, Bjørkeli, is 50 years old. It has charm and a personal touch on furniture and interior. We think you'll be fine here.

Lidvang Gard, a gem on Sunnmøre

Welcome to Lidvang Gard in Barstadvik. Garden, built over 80 years ago, has a history of fur farming and traditional animal shed. Over the last 25 years, the farm has been renovated and adapted as a holiday home/rental. Very child-friendly city with many activities. Normally, there are animals grazing in the nearby meadows in the summer months. Garden is screened to without access. The surrounding mountains are fantastic with all levels of difficulty, from easy walks to more demanding hikes in Molladalen.
