Langedrag Nature Park and Bjørneparken (Bear Park) are also worth visiting. Good chance of seeing the northern lights in winter, when it is dark around the cabin. The cabin has a fireplace, a large south-facing terrace, a fire pit, a toboggan, a lounge loft, and board games. Welcome!

The cabin is located at the foot of Hardangervidda 1030 masl. There is beautiful hiking terrain right outside the cabin door with endless opportunities for nature experiences for small children's feet to experienced mountaineers. Right behind the cabin wall there are cross-country ski trails that can take you far into Hardangervidda or around the nearby area. Uvdal alpine center is only 10 minutes away by car for speed-loving ski enthusiasts. At the same time, Dagali Mountain Park, Dagali experiences and Langedrag Nature Park offer exciting experiences.

Large and cozy family cabin at Ustaoset

The cabin is located 5 km west of Ustaoset, about 100 meters from highway 7. Road all the way up which was plowed in the winter. There is amazing hiking terrain in summer and winter. The cabin is from 1950. It has been modernized and expanded in 2015. There are nice outdoor areas where you can enjoy the amazing view of Ustevann and Hardangervidda. A well-behaved dog is welcome. Guests must bring bed linen and towels. Guests must clean before departure, but may choose to use our regular help for washing (see below).

Heating with panel stove and fireplace. 3 bedrooms, one with double bed and 2 with bunk beds. Ski slopes and hiking trails just outside the door, Snaufjellet is only 15 minutes away! Approx. 45 minutes to Norefjell, 1.5 hours to Geilo, 40 minutes to Nesbyen – and less than an hour to Langedrag Nature Park! Modern kitchen with stove, oven and microwave.

The cabin was completed in Easter 2020 and is idyllically located in Midtre Fjellsnaret on the sunny side of Uvdal. The cabin is at over 1000 meters above sea level with panoramic views, sun all day, idyllic and undisturbed. Here at the foot of Hardangervidden there are countless opportunities for great nature experiences and fun activities for the whole family this summer. Cross-country ski trails with a large trail network right outside the door, and an alpine slope with lots of opportunities for all ages.
