Lovely and spacious apartment in the middle of the sandwich at Kikut. Everything was clean and tidy, a well-equipped apartment and very pleasant host. We felt at home, and had a glorious Easter with ski slopes and trails just outside the door. Lovely to sit on the patio in the spring sun after skiing!

Very nice and big appartement and the area is beautiful. It is unfortunate that you have to pay extra for linen and towels.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our first trip to Norway, and this apartment exceeded all expectations! We’ve done multiple ski trips to France, but Geilo was fantastic—easy to get around with a hire car, and the slopes were pretty quiet at the end of January. The apartment was warm, comfortable, and well-equipped, with powerful showers and plenty of hot water. Its location was perfect for family skiing, with nursery slopes on the doorstep and a short lift to the Vestlia ski area for all levels. Ski hire and lift passes were super easy to sort through SkiGeilo in Vestlia—we pre-ordered online and picked everything up the afternoon before our first ski day. Supermarkets (Spar, Kiwi, Rema) are just a 10-minute drive away. We’re already planning our next trip—and even trying to find the same sofa for our home in the UK! By far the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in. Highly recommended!

Stylish apartment centrally located at Kikut. We were 2 adults and 3 youngsters, just right for the apartment. Clean and easy check in/out.

Steffen is an excellent host. kind, respectful, responsive and really wants his guests to have a great time. The apartment is in a fantastic location especially for families. it looks over the kids slope so once we had had enough, the kids could keep going under our watchful eye. the bedrooms have very comfortable two person beds (? king or superking) and the ski closet in the entrance was spacious and so useful. the kids enjoyed the separate tv area in their down time. modern, lovely decor, spacious, warm, brilliantly.located. parking steps away in the garage.

A simply wonderful place to enjoy the Norwegian upland, with ski trails from the door, super floor heating, warm historic vibe, and a comfy couch. It has two tables that seat six, a kitchen with tools, utensils and servingware to cook for a crowd of 12 (or more) and serve them coffee and wine, and a dishwasher for cleanup. It’s very well-equipped—like visiting an aunt with one of everything—so there was a right-sized ski pole when we broke one, an extra pulk and harness, plastic sleds for a small army of children, extra ski wax and tools, and the mudroom has long benches for booting on/off, and tons of hooks for hanging outerwear. When wood for the fireplace ran low, Bengt responded quickly.and had it delivered. There are tons of books in the Nordic languages as well as English on many topics including the local area and beyond. The market in Ustaoset is a short walk/ski, and Geilo was easy to reach by bus, train, or taxi for stores, dining, or a downhill ski. Love. This. Place.

We had a really lovely stay at Karianne's lovely apartment. We arrived late at night in the snow, darkness and fog and had a little difficulty finding it. But Karianne was very helpful and quick to respond. But when we got to know us in the daylight, it was easy to navigate to ski stables, ski toilets, garage, and it was really easy to get to the slopes. We have had wonderful days both on alpine and cross-country skiing. The apartment was very clean and everything was new and delicious. There is lovely sun on the balcony in the afternoon. In the apartment is a good clear description of the features of the apartment. All communication with Karianne has been quick and pleasant. We would love to come again another time.

Wonderful home right next to the slopes. From the moment we arrived, the chalet welcomed us with warmth and comfort, feeling like a home away from home for the entire family. The meticulous attention to detail in every corner did not go unnoticed, making our time both comfortable and luxurious.

We went skiing from Christian's place. Ski in and out was absolutely amazing. Very nice apartment and we had a really good stay!
