Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Depending on the season, the crossing to the island is by small boat, which is included in the rental. In winter, we arrange shuttle service with snowmobiles. The island is located near central Piteå (6 km) and only 400 meters from the mainland. The hot tub is 38 degrees Celsius year-round. Wood-fired sauna on site. Here, you can enjoy the nature of Norrland. The midnight sun in summer and the northern lights in winter. We can usually arrange transfer to and from Luleå Airport for an additional fee.

Welcome to the farmhouse "Bagarstugan" at Barksjögården: an old farmhouse that is being renovated. Single-story house with all amenities needed. Perfect for the family/friends. Bedlinen and towels are included. Enjoy nature or an excursion to any of the cafes in the village. For those interested in fishing, there are a variety of fishing waters nearby. 5 minute drive to grocery store and pizzeria. Animals are on the farm therefore let us know if you want to bring your own. Guests clean up after themselves on departure. Warm welcome!
