Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. The Old Silk Barn off Bruton High Street

The Studio at the Old Silk Barn is a newly created space for two people situated literally off Bruton High Street with its Michelin Star Restaurant, numerous art galleries, Museum, shops and restaurants. The space consists of a luxury kitchen & breakfast bar, sitting area, ingenious Italian Murphy bed, & is very comfortably & stylishly furnished. The apartment with underfloor heating, offers a large bathroom, TV, washer/dryer, dishwasher & everything needed for a comfortable self catered stay.

Secluded Cabin on a Farm near Woods and Footpaths

Our Cabin is set in a secluded spot with lovely views overlooking farmland, horse paddocks and the surrounding countryside. There are many footpaths in the area. A 10 minute walk will take you into ancient Postlebury Woods or to our small aesthetic lake. Imagine coming back from a long relaxing walk or maybe from shopping and exploring the Roman city of Bath to a warming meal in the cabin followed by marshmallows over the firepit. If you'd like to bring your horse with you we can arrange it!

Get back in touch with nature at this luxury Shepherd’s Hut nestled in a quiet hamlet. Enjoy the large hut’s interior amid thoughtful industrial style decor and modern finishes and embrace outdoor living in your own large outdoor space, surrounded by breathtaking views of the countryside. Relax in the large fire fuelled hot tub, lounge on the deck in front of the fire pit or grab a bean bag and find a quiet spot in your own private paddock. This place offers luxurious comfort indoors and out.

The Waggon at Westcombe

Our cosy waggon overlooks its own private valley, complete with 19th Century coachbridge and secluded wild swimming spot. Set in 25 acres of woodland and pasture, our waggon offers an opportunity to switch off, curl up with a book and get back to nature. It includes an ensuite with shower and its own kitchen.. Only 10 minutes away from Bruton, handy for The Newt and Hauser & Wirth. Westcombe Dairy & Woodsheddings Brewery taproom is a 3 minute walk and the Three Horseshoes a 20 minute stroll.

The Pavilion is a modern, purpose built holiday house in the quiet Somerset village of Yarlington. It has all the conveniences: Wood burning stove, underfloor heating, Washer & tumble dryer, Iron & ironing board, fast fibre optic broadband and a charging station for an electric or plug in hybrid car, but sadly the mobile phone signal is very poor. The house is next to the pub and a stones throw from the church. The Newt and Hauser Wirth Gallery in Bruton are within a 15 minute drive.

Beautiful and lovingly renovated Coach House in the heart of Pilton village, set in the lush private grounds of our family home. Two double bedrooms, one with free-standing roll top bath (option to add an extra bed/cot for a child); shower room; large open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting room, with two sets of double doors leading to a private outdoor dining terrace (with BBQ & fire pit); view and shared use of our paddock with rope swing, baby swing and trampoline for children.

The Green Hut is a cosy but luxurious getaway in the walker's paradise of in Batcombe, situated just behind our converted barn in a tree-lined paddock. This self-contained shepherd's hut is perfect for one or two people to immerse themselves in true rural relaxation, whilst being close to the beautiful market towns of Frome and Bruton. Whether sat outside soaking up the views in the sunshine, or snuggled up by the wood burner on a rainy day, The Green Hut is the ideal place to unwind.

The Cow Shed

The Cow Shed is a bright and airy one bedroom holiday cottage/annex. It boasts a private entrance, hall, double bedroom, luxury shower room and comfortable loft living area with fitted kitchenette. The Cow Shed is set on a small farm with horses, chickens and goats alongside the river Frome. The cottage is great as a base to explore the area. We are a stones throw from the local attractions of Longleat, Bath, Wells, Stourhead, Alfred’s Tower, Cheddar and Glastonbury.

We have an outdoor bath so what better way to cool down and relax. Included in your stay is our delicious breakfast. Want a place you can get back to nature?
