Great berry picking, mushroom picking, fishing, and hunting grounds right at the cottage door (purse-lacla). The cottage has electricity. Nearby historical and hiking destinations include Rukajärventie, Änäkäinen, jongun river, bear trail, and recreational fishing and hiking area. ask for autumn weekends with a message, they are negotiable even though they are provisionally closed for your own use. No access to running water during freezing weather.

Our cottage has a living room, kitchen, 2 sleeping alcoves and a sauna. While on vacation, you can sit on the terrace to enjoy the lake view or read a book while lounging on a hammock. The gentle sandy beach opening to the south is well suited for children's water games and there is a lot to do for families in the cottage and the surrounding area. Beautiful log house on the shore of Lake Pielinen. A quiet location, stunning scenery and good outdoor opportunities best describe this place. In winter, you can access the ski slope from the ice in front of the cottage. In addition, the ski slopes of the Timitra ski resort are within walking distance of the cottage. In the courtyard of the cottage, there are good downhill skiing opportunities, as well as a great setting for winter activities. However, city services are available a few kilometers away.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Although the small, stylish sauna house is part of our inhabited yard, you will find peace, nature, privacy and wonderful views here. The property is also great for telecommuting! The beach in Lahti is shallow and well suited for children. A rowboat and a SUP board are available. Bring your own linen and towels. If necessary, however, linen can be arranged from the accommodation.
