In the cottage by the shore of Höytiäinen, you can spend your holiday surrounded by a unique lake landscape. The wood-burning sauna has soft steam and a view of the lake. Underfloor heating and fireplace heat in winter. Preparing food with the Airfryer, in the microwave, or on the terrace on a gas barbecue. Drinking water is available directly from the kitchen tap. Guests have access to the entire cottage, which includes sleeping accommodation for two, a sauna, a toilet and a small kitchen. Beautiful sauna cabin (floor area approx. 39 square meters) on the shore of the clear water of Valkealampi! It sleeps four people. The cottage has a sandy beach, in winter an ice hole. You can ice fish or fish in the summer. You can jump into the water from the lovely steam of the wood sauna. Relax in the tranquility of nature. Nearby you will find, among other things, Kontiolahti's ski slopes and trails, biathlon stadium, Paihola's frisbee golf course, summer café (about 6 km), Pielisjoki and Joensuu (21 km) and Koli National Park (about 54 km) services and activities!

Do you miss stopping in the middle of nature? Savukallio is a Lappish-style wilderness cabin that invites you to breathe deeply and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The core idea of the place is: “Everyone is a hermit at heart” – a place to reset the mind and clear your thoughts. The cabin, built from old smoke sauna logs, is located in the lake landscape of Savo, about 70 km from Kuopio. The property offers a simple, authentic and natural wilderness experience for couples and travellers seeking peace and quiet.

Alapihan Arboretum guest house with sauna

Cozy guest house and sauna in a wild tree species park. There are about 250 different species of woody trees and shrubs in the two-hectare area. The trees were planted in 1970 and form their own microclimate, where the air is clean and good to breathe. The area is still partly in its natural state and renovation is being done in the area. For those interested, we will be happy to introduce the arboretums during the visit. The household includes two Lapphunds, a cat, a rooster and 6 hens. Breakfast available

Beautiful log house on the shore of Lake Pielinen. A quiet location, stunning scenery and good outdoor opportunities best describe this place. In winter, you can access the ski slope from the ice in front of the cottage. In addition, the ski slopes of the Timitra ski resort are within walking distance of the cottage. In the courtyard of the cottage, there are good downhill skiing opportunities, as well as a great setting for winter activities. However, city services are available a few kilometers away.

Welcome to a clean, well-maintained one-bedroom apartment! The whole apartment (37m ²) is at your disposal. For a car in this area, rare free parking with a heating pole in the yard. In the apartment, you can enjoy a sauna and a spacious balcony. The home has a well-stocked kitchen. To get to the city center, you can quickly get to the city through the bridge on wheels belonging to the apartment. The apartment has an air source heat pump, so the nights go cool in the summer. Partying is prohibited.

Although our small, modern and stylish sauna cabin is part of our residential courtyard, here you will find peace, nature, privacy and wonderful views. There are excellent fishing opportunities on the lake. What's more, the location is ideal for working remotely! Lahti beach is shallow and great for children. Use a rowing boat and a paddleboard. Available for rent for fishing with a motor boat. Bring your own linens and towels.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.
