Tiny house holiday rentals in North Okanagan

We had an excellent time at the Tin Poppy Retreat. Civilization is a stone’s throw away yet you are truly immersed in the serenity of nature in this location. If you are lucky enough to have some decent wind and rain roll through you are in for a fun, wild and cozy night. We hope to be back someday.

Our stay at Drew's cabin was great! The description was accurate and we brought all the gear we needed - sleeping bags, drinking water, etc. Probably could have brought our air mattresses to add some cushioning on the futon, but it wasn't absolutely necessary. Drew was friendly and communicative and brought us firewood for outside the wood stove. The bathroom was clean and had enough running water for washing up and cleaning. We didn't try the shower as it was too cold out. We luckily had no neighbours due to cancellations, so it was perfectly quiet and we spent a lot of time relaxing in the sun. The place is pet friendly and our pup had a great time off leash roaming around. If you are looking for a secluded getaway that is a step up from tenting, this is it. We will definitely be back again!

This place felt like it was pulled straight from the pages of a fairytale. I felt completely at ease letting my kids run freely and play with the animals such a rare and peaceful experience. Heidi was so warm, welcoming, and gracious, accommodating us with genuine care from start to finish. By far the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. It felt like home the entire time we were there. PERFECT location for a peaceful weekend away from it all! We were bummed we forgot to bring snowshoes for all the nice trails around, but had a great time just hanging out in the cabin reading books and relaxing. Thank you so much!

If you’re looking to quiet the mind and reconnect with your soul, look no further! This magical lakeside retreat offered one of the most peaceful getaways experienced thus far. The home was luxurious with thoughtful touches throughout. From tranquil morning coffees on the dock, to kayaking and admiring the painted turtles and various birds, to stargazing every evening, this spot checked every box for us! Susi and Bruce were amazing hosts, ensuring we had everything we needed. We recommend this rare gem without hesitation, and we look forward to our next stay!

A real gem on the beautiful Shuswap!! Nikki and Ante are fantastic hosts, welcoming you to their incredible property to share the outdoor spaces and enjoy everything that lake front living has to offer. Highly recommend for a unique and memorable experience in their cute tiny cabin!

My son stayed in the studio with his dog and enjoyed the setting and the character of the studio. No complaints!

I stay at a lot of Airbnb's and always try to find unique and memorable spots. Just when I think I've found the best hidden gems a place like Shaun's comes along and blows the bar way out of the water. Every touch and detail was thought out with care. The surroundings speak for themselves but the space Shaun has created is outstanding. And Shaun himself is so friendly and hospitable, was able to borrow some milk for my coffee in the morning and he had it over in a flash. The cabin itself was quaint but clean and functional with much of the focus being on the large private deck. All the shared spaces have everything you need and create a great way to mingle with other guests. I got to have a chat with a very nice man who was visiting on a fishing trip and was cooking his catch of the day on the fire, he then later brought me a plate of my own, what a special experience. By far my favourite Airbnb to date. Will always make a point to stay here when I can. 10/10

We would highly recommend staying at Dave’s. The location is exceptional as is Dave’s willingness to ensure we had the best stay possible. He moved the boat so the kids could have the best slide area into the lake and set up the awning on the top deck so we could get some shade. He was so friendly and available for any questions. We will stay again!

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The place was even more beautiful than in the photos—like a peaceful little farm retreat. Everything was spotless, well maintained, and full of thoughtful touches. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, surrounded by nature and the soothing sounds of the countryside. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, always making sure we had everything we needed. We had an amazing stay at Binky's place! She is super easygoing, approachable, and helpful, and the little cabin was cosy, clean, and warm. Tons of space for our young, high-energy pup to run with the three very friendly dogs on the property. Beautiful location right by the river. The perfect getaway if you've had enough of the city and want to see some stars. I imagine it's even more beautiful when it's high summer and would love to book another stay.
