Lake house holiday rentals in North Rhine-Westphalia

The place is in a really nice location. Burkhard is responsive and tries to solve anything immediately. The house is a bit minimalistic - bring your own essentials like salt, sugar, oil etc. The kitchen table and chairs are high and would be inconvenient if you bring little kids. The house smells a bit musty, but we were mostly enjoying the large terrace outside so it didn't bother us too much.

We spent the Easter days in the beautiful house in Hörste and enjoyed it very much. There was enough space in the spacious house for three generations and we were even able to have breakfast together on the terrace in the sunshine. Thank you!

Beautiful, small cottage in an idyllic location. The view was very nice, only the many boats that ride through the Ems on beautiful days disturbed the tranquility a little. the equipment of the apartment is impeccable and completely functional. Only the piano, which was indicated as an entertainment option, was not well tuned. This may be completely irrelevant in 9/10 cases, just a pity for us. There were also many spiders (nets) due to nature, which did not bother us any further. The cottage is not quite as remote as the photos may believe - it is located in a holiday home settlement, which was also no problem at all, as it was still quiet and single. As described, there was mixed mobile reception, which I found positive, as it can simply switch off even better (in the truest sense of the word). All in all, a clear recommendation, and we will consider it on further trips.

We spent New Year's Eve in the Stranzenburg in a small group. Really a beautiful unique house with charm! Ursula was a great host who even greeted us with a cake. If you have any questions, we were always able to reach out and received a quick response. We were all very comfortable.

We stayed at Dorit's house for a week with 4 adults, a toddler, a baby and a dog and were all very happy. There was enough space in the house and nothing was missing. We adults enjoyed the peace, child and dog the garden. The location is great for walks on the Steinhuder Meer and also for excursions. All in all it was a very relaxing time!

Plenty of free parking, smooth, friendly communication and handling. We were able to walk from the house to Olpe by the lake with the dog to eat there or enjoy the landscape. Was a great time and the house was extremely clean. Thank you but for the great time at the magnificent Biggesee! :-)

There were five of us in the house. Four spacious rooms for sleeping and a large living-dining area on two levels offered plenty of space to feel comfortable. There was nothing missing, neither in the kitchen nor in the bathrooms. Even spices were available. The pretty garden and terrace invited you to linger. The communication was very good. Always happy 😊

We had a nice time in the cozy cottage. It was very clean and we found everything we needed. The sauna was great. Unfortunately, we were unlucky with the weather, so we didn't spend much time in the garden. Especially in summer it is certainly wonderful there, because the lake (the swimming spot) is very, very close.

We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful bright place. The surroundings are very idyllic and the instructions for the sauna were very clear and helpful.

Very beautiful and complete house with plenty of space and equipped with every comfort. Beautiful area with nice hiking opportunities. Neighborhood shop next to the door. Host is super friendly, welcoming and adequate. Outdoor area well enclosed for the dogs. We were just sorry that there is no view of the area from the house. But otherwise the house and the host are definitely worth repeating!

had a great time, me and my friends were visiting the nurburgring as it's only 20 mins down the road. 2 great local restaurants, beautiful town and great scenery. would definitely stay again when I plan to visit the nurburgring next time.

There were 6 of us and we had a great vacation with our dogs. The house had all the amenities you need and a little more. All our special requests have been implemented and partly courteously fulfilled. On the sun terrace has my great view of the lake and can enjoy the sun. The area invites you to hike and in summer the path to the lake is worthwhile. We can only recommend the house to everyone.

I was there with my husband, my mother-in-law, and my two sisters-in-law. We had a very nice time. Since we cooked all three evenings, the super equipped kitchen was very helpful. We were also able to play a card game that was available and table tennis. Everything was there. Also, the apartment is very clean and tastefully decorated and has a very nice terrace with morning sun. The communication with the host Marvin was great.

We spent wonderful days in Carla's cute cabin. The location is simply fantastic to just unwind. We didn't miss anything... shopping right around the corner....just a few steps and you are at the beautiful victory.. You have created a small oasis there where you immediately feel at home. We will definitely be back... absolutely recommended!

Super uncomplicated key handover. Pleasantly very quiet location, otherwise no vacation home in the cul-de-sac. Grill was optimal and otherwise everything was sufficiently available in the household. Within walking distance, all activities are very quickly reached. Therefore, please come back.

A very nice place to stay. Although it is a bit remote, it is an excellent place to relax, especially thanks to the wellness area.

The Tropicana fun pool in Stadthagen is good, and the dinosaur park in Münchehagen. Steinhude is clearly a must. I recommend the boat rental on the promenade.

I stayed at the house Marta for 4 days with friends. The location is beautiful and there are many great hiking routes in the area. From bun delivery service to sauna, everyone is there and very clean 🙏🏼 Also the kitchen was particularly well equipped and the whole house very child-friendly. We will come back anytime. 10/10 :)

A very homely house, right on the Rhine dam. Super quiet location. Very large fenced property. Dogs are welcome. The house was very clean. After booking, as well as during the stay, we were kindly looked after. Our questions were answered quickly. Thank you and we'll be happy to come back.

We will definitely be back again! Not only the great and friendly communication with the hosts before our trip, the great location with tranquility, but also many things to do, but also the fully equipped house, gave us a wonderful extended weekend. Especially for our little twins, everything was available and especially the wide selection of children's vehicles of the hit. The location of the house is great, everything in the holiday park is within walking distance and yet you have your privacy with a small garden/forest property. Check in and out is totally hassle-free and you can always reach out to the hosts. We were able to enjoy every minute and will definitely be back next year.
