Really good value for a 4 bedroom house, and very convenient for transport links supermarket etc. Third time our group has stayed here. The midday checkout takes the pressure off on the last day. Speedy and straightforward communication - thanks Dholma.

What a wonderful place to stay. The peace I sought was found, the relaxation that was so much needed was there and very much welcomed. Days spent walking in the New Forest were finished with a chilled glass of wine in the hot tub that was tended daily by a really lovely chap. The lodge was spacious, clean and comfortable with the basics of equipment there for your use, which is helpful. The whole experience is one I shall repeat and have already begun to tell others to check it out too

This is a very charming hatched cottage/house. The pictures don't do it justice as its even better once you arrive. Finding the house was fun as it didn't quite come up the the GPS but once we did we couldn't believe this was where we would be staying! We then spent the first 20 minutes literally exploring the house, finding all the many bathrooms, and just saying 'wow'! The kitchen is brilliant: 6 burner hob and two ovens, plus two sinks in the middle 'island'. Dining room table is absolutely massive and perfect for playing the many board games stored in the lounge. There are some nice paths behind the house that are fun to walk and there is plenty to do in the area: close to Romsey and Salisbury and also the New Forest (we are into geocaching so had a blast!). Overall we had a fantastic stay and I'd highly recommend this to anymore considering it.

Spent a lovely Xmas here. Cosy old railway cottage in a lovely and peaceful village. The kitchen/diner is a lovely room and ideal for entertaining. Can imagine that in the summer the back garden would be a lovely place to unwind. Great also to have visitor parking. Felt very homely and also dog friendly, ours was very impressed with the dog toy collection!

Sue was a fantastic host, and The Retreat was a gorgeous place to stay. It was immaculate, spacious and beautifully furnished. We enjoyed the garden and overall peacefulness of the location. Provision of baby equipment was excellent and a huge help. Thank you so much! We'd love to return.

I had a peaceful stay here in the cabin. Al and his family are kind people. The cabin is well thought out and has everything you need. It is easy to feel at home here. The garden is large and has a pleasing layout. All in all, was perfect for me. Many thanks and best regards to Al.

A Perfect Stay in Henley-on-Thames We had the most wonderful stay at this charming cottage in Henley-on-Thames. From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely perfect. The cottage is beautifully decorated, with a cozy yet stylish feel, and every detail has been thoughtfully considered. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the living space was so inviting—we loved relaxing on the sofa in the evening. The bedrooms were incredibly comfortable, and we woke up each morning feeling refreshed and ready to explore the area. The location is unbeatable—just a short stroll to the river, local shops, and fantastic restaurants, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. The host was also exceptional, providing clear communication and thoughtful touches throughout the home. This cottage truly felt like a home away from home, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic experience

We had a fantastic stay. Beautiful apartment and very well equipped. Very comfortable bed. Large walk in shower in downstairs bathroom. Lots of spare towels if needed. Lovely breakfast basket provided with plenty of fresh milk and orange juice and choice of cereals. Fresh loaf of bread and butter jam and honey. Very comfortable and light and spacious with lots of seating outside when the weather is good. Sarah was a fabulous host and we will definitely stay again. The village of Goring is very pretty. Fantastic cafe for breakfast by the bridge and Masooms the Indian restaurant and takeaway in the village is a must. Was delicious.
