Holiday rentals with a kayak in Northeast Piscataquis

We came to Dragonwood for a small family getaway and had the most amazing time. Carrie was an extremely attentive host and we were never lacking in activities, even when the weather was on the dreary side. We’re looking forward to booking another stay next year!

We had a lovely time at Ellen‘s home with four adults and two kids enjoying a last few days of summer vacation. Our family enjoyed using the paddleboard and canoes to spend time on the water. The beach was perfect for swimming too. We also loved the walking paths along the pond and all of the benches and picnic spots. Having all of the games and roomy indoor space was very helpful on a rainy morning. Ellen left many helpful instructions. Thank you and we hope to return again!

Second stay here and wonderful visit once again. Sandy and Jason are very responsive, pleasant and helpful, and generally great hosts. We woke up to a beautiful snowfall which made the kids happy, and the new garage set-up is great! Thank you.

Place was spotless. Beautiful lake view, nice backyard. Home had everything you would need. Plenty of parking. Nice inside and tastefully decorated. Kids enjoyed fishing, kayaks and life jackets provided. Zero complaints. Great house to rent for your all of your vacation needs.

David’s home is beautiful! We had a great long weekend on Moosehead Lake. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Greenville area! We had a large group of ice fisherman and this place had enough room for all of us. We will be back next year for sure.

We had a great stay at Jake’s cabin. The highlight of the trip was the beautiful lake in the backyard. Having Kayaks and canoes was definitely a plus. The cabin is well equipped and has basic Kitchen and grilling essentials. We had issues with the shower’s water flow but thats forgivable considering everything else. The beds were comfortable and clean. We would definitely recommend Jake’s cabin for anyone looking at a staycation around Lincoln.

Railway camp was a great winter getaway! Great, responsive host, clean, right in the lake, in a perfect location! Everything was as described and hope to stay here again. I am glad they share this camp.

I had a wonderful experience at The Nest. It is such a lovely, relaxing spot with outstanding hosts that were a pleasure to chat with. The cottage itself has everything you need. We had a relaxing weekend at this beautiful get away! The house is located on a beautiful lake with stunning views, especially in the fall season! The house was stocked with everything we needed for the weekend and was very clean. Overall we enjoyed our stay and hope to stay in the future!

This home away from was absolutely everything we wanted. We went up beginning of March, easy access to the lake. When you were inside the cabin the you could see the entire lake. It was awesome being able to see all of our ice traps from the inside. The morning sunrises were amazing! We will definitely be renting in the winter again.

The “Kottage” was a perfect long weekend getaway for our family of five (three kids 19/16/13). The space felt larger than pictured and during the chilly fall weekend we were able to take full advantage of the indoor and outdoor space. The kitchen was stocked well and the rooms were as described. The view of the lake and surroundings was priceless (I was up to watch the beautiful sunrise daily with my hot cup of coffee). The added benefit of having kayaks and a canoe was enjoyed immensely! We even enjoyed some cold plunges in the fall mornings. We snacked, read, watched a few movies, and enjoyed the quiet. Great deck, fire pit, and grill. Bathroom and washer/dryer was as described. No bad days here! Thank you again!

The house is great. We couldn’t have Ben happier! My wife and I spent a week to celebrate our 30th, and it was perfect for what we were looking for. Seclusion, peace and quiet. The back deck is amazing looking out over the lake, and a view of Kitahdin. The interior has a very homey feel, and so, as the weather didn’t cooperate so much, we had no problem just hanging out and enjoying the house and the surroundings. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed to cook in more often than go out. The woodwork thru out the house, and the quality handmade furniture gave the house a warm comfortable feel. I 100% recommend this rental for anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle for a while. 👍

We loved our one week stay at the cabin! It was really wonderful living right at the lake, having breakfast outside, kayaking, going swimming almost every day and just enjoying the time doing nothing or reading. We also went hiking in the nearby State Park which was great. The cabin was very cozy and had everything we needed. Communication with Kim was really easy-going. We definitely recommend the cabin to anyone who wants to get away from everything for a while.

This was our second stay at Brian's place, and it was just as beautiful and peaceful as we remembered. The serene atmosphere and stunning views made it the perfect getaway. Brian was a fantastic host, and we truly felt at home. We will definitely be back!

This cabin was great! Amazing location on the water with beautiful views. Convenient spot on the property with easy access to restaurant/brewery/New England Outdoor Center. We had a great weekend XC skiing and enjoying gorgeous views of Katahdin. We even enjoyed a beautiful sunset watching a family of bald eagles on the lake in front of the mountain. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and cozy. 10/10 would recommend and stay again.

The cabin is absolutely beautiful! Right on moosehead lake easy walk down to get right to fishing! If i had any questions peter was very helpful and had no problem answering me and even texted to make sure i was having a good stay! Would definitely recommend to anyone trying to get out to moosehead!

I loved this stay! Went for my birthday! Very Pet friendly and the host stocked the cabin with tons of necessities, and was very detailed with the things she had for us! Tons of space for your dog to run and play! Very peaceful and private! Dead quiet! Sooo healing for the soul! This was a much needed stay and a 10/10! So many memories were made this past weekend and we are already talking about coming back! Our dog gave it two paws up!

My husband, toddler, dog and I had a tremendous stay at Joshua’s camp. The description matched the photos exactly—and quite honestly, the camp is even better in person. We loved our time here, and wish we’d had longer! It’s in a gorgeous location with endless opportunities for hiking (even outside of Baxter SP 🙂) within a reasonable distance nearby. We found it rustic, but it had everything we needed to be comfortable (even when the power went out during a windstorm). Joshua was a very responsive and communicative host, and we would love to stay here again!

Jill and Sam’s place was lovely and was everything they described! They were lovely hosts and very flexible. Amazing views & lovely cabin. Would stay with them again!

The house was perfect! Clean, well stocked. Mark was a great host. Responded immediately to any questions I had. Checked in with us to make sure everything was ok. We would absolutely stay there again. It was within walking distance to the New England Outdoor Center. Perfect location!

This is a beautiful getaway home in the woods. The view especially of the sunrise is spectacular. We loved being there.
