Swiss-style cottage, queen-size bed and balcony with hammock on the mezzanine, on the ground floor 2 single beds/sofa, bathroom and equipped kitchen. The spiral staircase requires care and is not suitable for people with mobility issues. Children under 10 years old are not allowed. Please observe the pets rules and READ ABOUT WIFI.

Historic cocoa farm in the south of Bahia, municipality of Ilhéus on the banks of the Almada River and close to the Castelo Novo village. Please, to arrive at the site, follow the recommendations made here. Head toward Uruçuca on the Ilhéus/Uruçuca Highway, until km 18. Arriving at this mileage, you can see the right dirt road and the wooden plate of Fazenda Almada, enter this road and go straight for 3 kilometers until you see the gate of Fazenda Almada. The bio-chalet was built inside our farm, located 1 km from the city. It is ecological, charming and uses various bio-construction techniques. We are surrounded by woods, birds (many macaws) and tranquility. As our host is an accredited Guide, feel free to ask questions about Chapada's attractions and information. We live on our farm and the bio-chalet is the closest to our home. Feel safe and supported in a family environment where everything is done by us and with affection.

Welcome to Sítio Porto Taigun, a spacious, quiet property in nature and with a unique history, on the banks of the João de Tiba River in Santo André, Bahia. Our property, one of the oldest in the village, is named after the sailboat that brought the couple Jürgen and Ana Lúcia to the then small village of Santo André in the early 1980s. This special place was carefully selected to become both the couple's new home and a port for the vessel. Hence the name: Porto Taigun.
