Private suite holiday rentals in Northern Hungary

We loved staying in our private apartment in Matyasne's beautiful and welcoming home. We would highly recommend this choice to anyone wanting to vacation in Eger. The apartment was even prettier and more spacious than the photos suggested. The location is perfect - a pretty, treed area with gardens, and a nice walk to the downtown square, churches, castle and Valley of the Beautiful Women wine area. Plus it is also close to the bus station, which made it easy for us to visit the park with the mountains and waterfalls about 25 K outside of Eger. Matyasne went above and beyond with all her help and her suggestions about what to see. We also appreciated Matyasne's excellent English, which made our communications so easy. Plus she picked us up from the train station and dropped us off there when we left! This booking exceeded all our expectations. We are so happy we were lucky enough to choose this place for our stay in Eger.

The place matched the description and very cosy. Mátyásné is very friendly and gave us tips about things to see and do in Eger. The place is close to main attractions. We even got discounts at restaurants and other services because we stayed here. I can only recommend the apartment.

We stayed for two months, so we can say it is an excellent option for both short and long stay. The neighborhood has everything, the transportation is great, the street is quiet and friendly. The house is very cozy, equipped as described, and the host is extremely kind, flexible, and helpful. The little garden is super, and the pets are very cute. Our little girl put it was a fortunate way for us to spend our time here, and we had the opportunity to get to know Maggie. We'd love to come back anytime!

Very nice clean accommodation in the basement of the host's house. We could also use the yard, the son won with toys and enjoyed the little pool. The host was very kind,she also gave us tips on what to see in the area and responded very promptly. Thank you for your pleasant stay :)

The place was as described. We were 3 adults and 3 children (with 7 years, 5 years and 7 months) and had good space. The bathroom and kitchen are small, but perfectly sufficient and equipped with everything you need. The whole place is very clean and cozy. A good heater for cold days and with air conditioning for the hot time. The garden is wonderful and also the car can easily be parked on the property, which is a big plus. The location is perfect for exploring the city without a car, bus and tram are easy and quick to reach on foot and get directly to the city center within a very short time. The area is very pleasant, with restaurants and shops nearby. A great playground for kids and outdoor fitness area are right at the end of the street. It is worth mentioning how incredibly quiet the place is, although you are in the middle of the city! The host is very warm and helpful!

Good area, you are still in the capital, a nice and quiet area. Here you will find everything in the area. We were very pleased and enjoyed ourselves. I can only recommend it, and the landlady is very friendly. Well equipped and air conditioning in all rooms. Thanks again for everything.

The place was clean, nice, it looked just like the photos. Quiet, quiet location. 10 minutes to mhd to get to the center (about 30 minutes). A good self check-in process, communicating with the host is responsive and clear. We really enjoyed the stay. :)

I had a late check-in with a delayed flight, was still able to smoothly get in and have a restful night, perfect for a quick stay

Very cute little apartment, tastefully decorated. There are all the amenities and best of all, it's dog friendly :) we were there with our spaniel and had a great time. The GPS kept taking me to the wrong place, so it's a good idea to check the address before you go, but it's a good location, max. 15 minutes to the city.
