Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Northern Vietnam

Unbeknownst to us the Hanoi section of our Southeast Asia trip was scheduled during the preparation for Tet, the Lunar New Year celebration..What a treat to walk down the street connected to our alley!! It was jam packed with people, motorbikes, food and flower vendors and all things red!! This place is situated in the Old Quarter and most things we wanted to do were easily within walking distance. The spiral staircase leading up to the fourth floor/third bedroom was picture worthy. Be sure to take one while you’re at the top looking down on someone in your party who is looking up from the main level. I was disappointed that the washing machine was on the rooftop level as we had laundry to do but the stairway leading up to it is steep and narrow. Not ideal. The rooftop is also the area that is pictured so beautifully in the Airbnb photos but again, due to the stairway, we did not use it. Overall, however, we would stay there again.

Fantastic location for exploring a new city. The host gave us excellent suggestions for dining and activities. She was very kind, and had excellent communication.

Very happy with our experience at Yen here in Sapa! We had booked this place for 4 days and have to say it was really great! Yen is always available and attentive to you and does not hesitate to move if needed. The accommodation is a little enhanced in relation to the city so you have very little noise disturbance ect... We went there while it was winter in Sapa and the accommodation is not isolated but it is very well done because Yen has everything planned: heated lamp, heated blanket! small point to improve in the future: Missing a curtain to hide the light in the morning, improve the hot water tank because you only have 5 min top time to shower and improve the access ramp for the accommodation. ⚠️WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES AND THE ELDERLY OR NOT FIT ⚠️

Great space ! location is very central and it's easy to walk top attractions , restaurants and bars. host is very responsive and helpful with instructions and reccomendations. house comes with excellent washer dryer which is great. Read the listing carefully since there are lots of narrow stairs in the house( typical of houses in The old quarter ) . Host has described the place well. so as long as u know what you are signing up for it's all good ! highly recommended for a stay in the old quarter.

We had an amazing stay at Thuy’s property! Thuy went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, providing Netflix access in each room and even helping us dry our clothes for free when we had to leave before they were ready. The house is incredibly spacious, offering plenty of room and privacy for everyone in our group. It truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend staying here for an exceptional and thoughtful hosting experience!

This was a great find for the price. Tung was very responsive and friendly, a great host! The location was wonderful. There was a lot to do within walking distance. The place was very clean. We had an excellent time and would absolutely come back to stay. I highly recommend it.

Van was an extremely accommodating and friendly host, who helped us book rides and motorbikes, and gave advice about what to do in the area when. Breakfast was wonderful, and the property is STUNNING, looks exactly like the pictures. Peaceful, safe, clean, and walkable. Stay here, you won’t regret it!

Great hosts and accommodations. When I checked in, I had a little problem with the first room, but the host immediately provided me with another room. Their response is prompt and excellent. I want to stay again next time.

This accommodation was very good. The furniture was in better condition than I thought, and the outdoor barbecue was well-equipped. It is perfect for a large family or company team.

Van aims to please. He is a great host and his space is fantastic. Masteri West Heights is an elite location in the Smart City where activities abound. I really REALLY liked that Van’s place had a filtered reverse osmosis system, which meant drinking as much clean/purified water as one would like, from the space. Van was awesome at connecting me with a soccer team game, and responded back to any questions I had immediately. Unfortunately, I was not able to complete the full AIRBNB stay, as unforeseen circumstances called me back home. HIGHLY recommend Van’s place.

Dat's apartment was very clean, organized and lovely. The space is cozy, making it feel like home. The apartment is fully furnished, very ok for those who are looking for a getaway. Definitely come back if there's a chance!

Exceptional! We loved our stay here. It was clean, nice and incredibly beautiful. We spend 2 weeks in Vietnam and unfortunately our time here was short, but it was our favorite location and home. Ngoc Linhs provided great communication and was very accommodating. I wish we had more than a short stay, truly exceptional and peaceful. I’ll look out for this home if I am in Vietnam again!

We really enjoyed staying here, the complimentary breakfast was delicious, would recommend the fried rice or vegetable with noodles, both were great! The shower water was quite cold however we didn't ask to see if that could be fixed since we were only staying for a couple days. We had heated bed pads and a heat fan which really helped with the cold. Overall would definitely recommend this place! The area was very peaceful, there was a local wood carving gallery right beside that had beautifully carved pieces, would recommend checking that out during your stay as well.

It was such a wonderful experience staying, I have a little daughter and everyone was so helpful. When she wouldn't eat the family helped me to feed her and play with her while I relaxed a little. I can't wait to go back one day!

Our group of 16 girls had so much fun staying at this place. This was their first stop off of Semester at Sea. After booking this, Jay was instantly in contact with me and very responsive, he helped us with anything we need and was even a tour guide one day for the girls. It made my daughter’s first time in Vietnam an experience for the books. I highly recommend this location for anyone coming to Vietnam.

Stunning location with incredible views, perfect for those looking for a relaxing and peaceful trip. A super spacious home with beautiful dogs and an amazing chef. The host was able to help us arrange transportation into sapa the fridge was stocked with drinks and the bedrooms were well equipped for the cold weather with electric blankets and heaters. To get into sapa it is about a 40 minute drive but we were able to find drivers easily with the help of our host. A great place for families would highly recommend.

May's place is the perfect location for someone who wants to get an authentic feel of the village life in Sa pa. We only did two nights and would definitely recommend a longer stay. The half day trek and herbal bath were both amazing experiences. Thank you May for being such an wonderful host! PS: The food was delicious

Loved the natural, cozy cabin environment. Great location - walkable to town, with a path that runs by the lake, in a peaceful location with (do note the path up can be abit treacherous in the dark or rain). Staff was extremely friendly and helpful :)
