Very unique, authentic, and comfortable Southwest style home with tremendous charm and warmth, 12 miles down San Miguel Canyon from the historic town of Telluride, Colorado. Telluride is home to a world class ski area, two film festivals, several music festivals including Bluegrass in the summer and Chamber Music and Blues Festivals in the Fall. Telluride offers a wide choice of restaurants and nightlife. Sit on the sunny decks or enjoy a fire in one of the 3 Kiva style fireplaces throughout the house in winter or fall. Cook meals on a beautiful six burner stove in a kitchen with a fireplace called The Rio Pecos Cafe. Fifteen minutes to Telluride and a half hour drive to Ouray Hot Springs. There is an on site caretaker who lives in a separate, private soundproof apt on a different level than the main house. He is there if you need him and invisible if you don't.

Must be comfortable on your knees because it’s a low headroom situation. There is a main level futon sofa sleeper too if need be. Lovely park like setting with outside firepit and charcoal Weber mini grill. Kitchenette is pretty well outfitted. Tiny Cottage has plenty of charm and comforts. The entire upstairs is a large master bedroom with views of the river and a sitting room with a pull out couch. The 2nd bedroom is on the main floor. 2 bathrooms. Eclectic decor, full kitchen, living room, TV, internet, a 3rd bedroom attach to the garage, deck to the river, and beautiful canyon views. Front yard parking the can accommodate 2 vehicles.

This Cottage is truly a place to get away for a romantic weekend! Your year round destination, all seasons have something special to offer. Hiking, biking, and water sports in the spring, summer and fall. National Park, Black Canyon of the Gunnison is 6 miles away. For the winter traveler we have three ski resorts an hour away in each direction. And as always, sightseeing in the fresh mountain air can’t be beat! Our bedding is top notch as well as our towels!

Beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with all amenities located in a scenic countryside setting. Driving distance from Telluride, Ouray, Ridgway. Great for family vacations, hunting trips, hiking, and biking. This house is for rent nightly or weekly. We can not accommodate any pets. Please note that the base price is for 2 guests; additional guests are $30 each. We do keep track of the number of guests in the house, simply because we care about our home.
