We have preserved the structure of the pre-war building and rebuilt the water system. Staying in an old house allows you to experience a different kind of life than your usual daily routine. Popular tourist spots such as Omicho Market, Ozaki Shrine (dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu), and Oyama Shrine (dedicated to Maeda Toshiie) are within walking distance. Welcome to BY THE SEA (BY THE SEA Noto). BY THE SEA NOTO is a small guest house in Noto-cho, Noto Peninsula. We rent the room to only one group per day. Enjoy plenty of time with a view of the sea. There are 3 rooms. All three 10 tatami mat rooms with sea views can accommodate up to 6 guests. In December 2021, the hinoki cypress bath was completed. We also made a mini kitchen, which was requested by many people. You can cook breakfast. For longer stays, cleaning is done every 3 days from the 3rd day. In front of the guest house is National Route 249, where cars for reconstruction pass, and the sea is also very close. If you want to rest more quietly, "Monopolize the sea of Noto. A villa-like inn" is also operated by an affiliated company. Please use it. Also, a small restaurant called Re Noto CREW has opened on the ground floor where you can enjoy Italian cuisine. Lunch and dinner reservations are available. Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

We recommend that you cook for yourself or eat at a delicious restaurant before checking in. Currently, there is a lot of earthquake damage, the roads are still uneven, and there are no shops or restaurants nearby. Recently, a small restaurant called Re Noto CREW has opened where you can enjoy Italian cuisine along the sea, about 20 minutes away. Lunch and dinner reservations are available. It is a 3-minute walk from Kanazawa's main tourist destinations, Higashi Chaya District and Shukecho Chaya District. The inn is located in an area where you can deeply feel the history and traditions of Kanazawa, with its traditional houses. The Kanazawa Tourist Bus stop is a 3-minute walk from the inn. Buses run every 15 minutes, and you can access tourist attractions such as Kenrokuen Garden and Omicho Market for a fare of 200 yen each way. Please use this accommodation as a base to enjoy sightseeing in Kanazawa efficiently. During the day, Higashi Chaya District and Shukei-cho Chaya District are crowded with tourists, but the number of people begins to decrease from dusk, and it is quiet at night. Early mornings are also a quiet time. Take a slow walk on the cobblestones and stroll through the ancient scenery. There are also many wonderful photo spots.

Noto cottage "Hinoki no ie" is a wooden house with Onsen (Hot spring). Surrounded by the nature of the Noto area, it's located right in-between of Kanazawa and Oku-Noto (about 1 hour by car which is recommended) making it convenient for sightseeing. You can relax in the living room, the tatami room or the cozy open space. The bath, made of hinoki (Japanese cypress) When you step into the bathroom your whole body is enveloped in the scent of the wood. The house is also very close to the ocean.
