From the second half of August to September, after the bustle of summer, you can also enjoy the slightly calmer atmosphere of Shinshu. During the day, you can go to the mountains and plateaus, and at night, you can enjoy the tranquillity of the countryside. This is a private cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and the starry sky. It is recommended not only for those who want to spend a relaxing time in Azumino and Ikeda-cho, but also as a base for sightseeing in Kamikochi and Hakuba, for stays of one night or more. A convenient location as a base for sightseeing in Hakuba, Kamikochi and Tateyama-Kurobe. We also accommodate group trips, family trips, and stays of several nights to long-term stays. The washing machine and bathroom also have a drying function, so you can stay comfortably for multiple nights. You can get here by public transport, but it is more convenient to have a car in this area. Free pick-up and drop-off are available from Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station. Other pick-up and drop-off services and sightseeing pick-up and drop-off services are available for 2,000 yen to 8,000 yen (round-trip fare) depending on the distance, within a 2-hour one-way range. In front of our house, which is sandwiched between the Hida-Buri Highway that connects the former Toyama and Takayama, there are the Nissho-bu Mingei Kan and the Yoshima residence, which are important cultural properties that show the rich cultural assets of Japan, and this area is designated as a preservation district for traditional buildings. It is a 2-minute walk to Miyagawa Morning Market and a 5-minute walk to Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the site of the autumn Takayama Festival. Medieval Haiku poet, Basho Matsuo likened eternal passage of time to "百代の過客", a permanent traveller. In his time, a hundred years was expressed as eternal.
