so grateful for this pleasant stay. responsive host, very helpful and friendly and so accommodating to our growing family. we will definitely be back, and we look forward to seeing it in its summer season too.

Great for guys night and watching sports together

Missy was a super host! Extremely responsive for anything we needed to communicate, and when out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. The property was absolutely as described, up north feel in Southern Michigan. The deck and the lake were fabulous. Will stay here again the next time we are visiting family. Great home for a special family gathering. Weather was beautiful so we got to enjoy the lakefront, taking advantage of the kayaks, bonfire pit, and jacuzzi. Area was quiet and peaceful.

We loved having a small family reunion at this house with our Michigan relatives! It was the perfect house to make dinners and relax and grill as well. The owners took great care of us and delivered playing cards for us too. Highly recommend. There was also a kind welcome package of food and fridge items already there when we arrived. Thank you!

We needed three bedrooms for our stay, and Ian offered two separate units: the Zen Suite (one bedroom) located above the Cook Suite (two bedrooms). Each suite has its own separate entrance, which was OK with us. Both suites were clean and comfortable, and I particularly liked the interior design. The Zen Suite also had a hot tub on the large patio, which was a highlight of our stay. Check-in was easy. There's a nice grocery store just across the street and several restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay!

Nice place, conveniently located. Ian was very responsive even though this was a last minute booking. he did request an additional deposit, however refunded that no problem the next day after checkout. Absolutely would rent from him again!

Great place and great communication. For a last minute reservation, due to another Air BNB’s failure to communicate, we were able to book quickly and had a place to spend the night. A short walk to Ferdale and Royal Oaks is a quick drive. Will definitely stay here again!
