Our cottage is small, cozy, and very relaxing. Whether you are kicking back watching the tube or paddling around the pond you will feel right at home and may not want to leave. By day you watch the stream of floater and kayakers, by early evening it’s the wildlife’s turn with eagles, owls and crane take over the banks of the river.

PRIVATE HOT TUB! We call this intriguing little place, The Bigfoot Inn. The cabin is located 1/4 mi off of Hwy 10 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and is less than 2 mi from the Illinois River. Plenty of parking available. This adorable space is 400 sq ft with a loft and a room divider is provided for added privacy. The loft has a TV, queen size bed, twin size bed, seating and bedding. The first floor has a single hide-a-bed and seating. Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape in the woods.

Step onto the back deck, enjoy a cup of coffee, and watch the wildlife including birds, squirrels, and deer. Or listen to the river. Grill up some steaks and sit at the picnic table. Afterwards, go underneath the cabin for a nap in one of the four hammocks. Take a short walk down to the private beach to kayak or swim in front of the bluffs. Sitting approximately 1/2 mile from the banks of the river on 400+ acres of private property, this beautiful property is perfect for hiking, fishing, viewing wildlife, or just relaxing around the outdoor firepit. Reconnect with nature, and hike or drive down through our property to access the river or fish from our nearby ponds.
