Walter has a beautiful place with awesome views of the sunsets. It is remote, so you definitely need to get a car. Great recommendations for food. Walter was very friendly and super responsive for anything we needed. One thing to note for future renters, the doors to the bedrooms and bathrooms are slatted for increased airflow. This does make sound travel, so privacy within your group may be limited.

Our entire party of 7 enjoyed the place thoroughly. Our 9 ye old son was the one who enjoyed it the most as he had the whole entertainment living room to himself self and even used it as his bedroom. Although no AC except in two on the rooms we did not need to turn it on due to the breeze that came through the windows. It was so fresh day in and out for me. Rooms are equipped with fans through the other rooms and that’s all we needed. The place had everything we needed to cook a few breakfast meals and dinner. The views amazing and in love with the plants all around the house. So glad we could get our laundry out of the way before come back home as well. Would definitely recommend staying here. Felt right at home.

Jason was an amazing host. House looked just like the pictures and you can tell it is well kept. He was quick to respond when I had any questions.

Love the space, it was clean and fresh. The layout is spacious. The host was responsive and allowed a late check out which was helpful. One thing to note. There is someone staying in the Garage which looks to be a full time tenant. Created an awkward feel for out door living, sharing the patio etc.. All in all a good stay, we would book again.

Great stay! Best host I’ve ever had in all my stays with Airbnb. Responsive, communicative. Went out of his way to make sure we had all we needed; for example, purchased a brand new high chair so we wouldn’t need to pack one. Really nice home. Pool was great.

The home is clean and beautiful near Holualoa galleries, coffee, and restaurants. We enjoyed the relative quiet away from the Kailua-Kona tourist area. The only surprise we had were loud roosters throughout the night/early AM.

Beth was a terrific hostess! She always responded warmly to us. Her home and lanai are amazing! And the EASY walk to Manini Beach was the huge cherry on top. Thank you Beth for the use of all the beach toys and snorkel gear!!

This is a nice getaway a little higher up and into the cooler air. We always prefer it if possible, and with enough windows we didn't even need the AC. A newer built area so not a lot of neighbors, and a great view down to the coast. We love the coqui frogs at night, kind of funny someone complained but I guess if you're not used to them Large space was perfect for us

This place was exactly what we needed! Even with a last minute double booking, they were accommodating and made the space work very well for us. They were always a text away, and very responsive. Close to what we needed, but also not in the middle of town where it was very busy. Thank you!

Very comfortable condo. Was great for our adult family. Used the beach wagon and beach towels a bunch of times. There was snorkel gear, but we had our own. Was great to have a very nice washer and dryer in the unit. Kitchen was adequately equipped for when we ate in. It was great to have so many close shopping and restaurant options within walking distance. Airconditioning was great, especially with ceiling fans to circulate ite air. The parking garage was a little worrisome. At first it looked like our big suv would be too tall, but there was about 3 inches clearance. A little tight getting around the temporay foundation supports in the garage, but it worked out. Nice to have convenient parking. We would definately rent this condo again. Host is wonderful. Very quick responses each time we contacted him.

I loved this place. Stayed here a week with my mom. The balcony is large and the view is amazing. Despite there being a pool from the apartment next door, noise was never an issue. It was a five minute drive to the downtown. The pool area was relaxing. Jason was very responsive and kind. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

helpful host and nice house. Everything is perfect except for some cockroaches intruders. Highly recommended for those who love immersive experience in nature but also want to be close to amenities like restaurants and stores.

Lovely little place with beautiful surroundings. Older than appears in pictures but very clean. Very limited space to cook and fridge is quite small but there is a bbq and outdoor seating which was great. Hosts were friendly, attentive and always responsive. The pool is lovely and the nearby bay is close walking distance . The hosts live on the property full time and work from home so they are present and around most of the time. They were very respectful and were not nosy in the least but something to be aware of. Their cat and dog are wonderful and will visit you if desired.

My family and I absolutely loved our stay at Devorah's house. Devorah was gracious, and her house was amazing. Plenty of space for my huge family. The house was perfectly located in a beautiful neighborhood that's easy to find. House is as described with a great pool and lots of room. We recommend and will return on our next trip to Kona, Hawaii.

The place was very clean with lovely ocean views! We enjoyed our stay, though we did wish trash disposal was included and we didn't have to take it out ourselves.

This is a beautiful place to stay. My family really enjoyed our five day’s. The location, view and all the amenities made you feel like home. The kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom and lanai was so organized and comforting. We walked to a beautiful local black sand beach called Honomalino, it was awesome. I highly recommend this Air B&B, had I known it was so nice we would have stayed here our whole two week vacation. We met the care taker from Pennsylvania, he was a friendly and helpful gentleman. My family rents Air B&B when they visit from Alaska, I’ll tell them and all my friends this is the place to rent. This place has created great memories for my family. Thank you so much.

We loved staying here. It is close enough to walk into Kona but still very private and peaceful. If you don't want the walk back after dark, you can get a Lyft for about $10. The house is perfect. They have thought of everything and it is a home away from home. It was spotlessly clean. We wished we could have stayed for longer. Stuart was the perfect host and the lanai was a truly wonderful space to relax. We would absolutely love to come back and stay again.

This place was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was more than I expected. There was so much extra amenities (toaster, coffee maker, etc.). The balcony overlooked a beautiful ocean scene. The sunsets were breathtaking. The location was nice and cool at night. The master bedroom was exquisite. Comfortable bed and amazing bathroom. My collegues and I had an amazing stay and loved every minute of it. I highly recommend this place. It was the perfect place to relax after a long day of work.

Very safe location and beautiful neighborhood. 20 minute walk to the beach. Lots of room for 3 couples. The host was very responsive to questions about the area and codes for the house.

Super adorable space. Very well decorated and functional at same time. We needed a quiet place to read after working. This space as perfect for that as it was in a family neighborhood. For what we needed for the short time it was perfect. I will say IF staying there long term it does get warm inside and at night. But was expected as the place describes not having AC but some fans for comfort. The check in process and communication was wonderful and super accommodating. Really appreciate being able to rent with short notice, he hosts made it easy. Thank you!

The setting of this house is spectacular, right in Kealakekua Bay. You can see the Captain Cook monument in the distance (we kayaked there from the property). The host provides literally everything that you could possibly need to explore the bay: kayaks, paddle boards, snorkel equipment, etc., and you can do all of this right from their own (rocky) shoreline. The house was well appointed with everything that we needed for the stay. We were glad that we had the cottage so we were separated from the other rentals. It felt private. If you stay in the summer it does get HOT in the house during the day, even with the use of their provided fans, but it cools off enough at night to get a restful sleep. Also, there is a rooster nearby, which didn't bother us East Coast early risers. It's a long drive from the main route down to this property. We recommend stopping at the local honey farm that you pass on the drive down. You'll see their products sold all over the Island.
