Holiday rentals with lake access in Odda Municipality

We had to travel to Odda on short notice and be there for several days for family reasons. We were lucky enough to rent Orinta's house, and it was a perfect fit for us who are a family of five adults. The house is almost right in the center of Odda and there is free parking close by. Located in a garden (which is safe in the summer), the house is nicely decorated. Everything was clean and tidy and we had everything we needed. We would gladly come again!

Great, quiet corner with beautiful swimming area and boat nearby. Fantastic view of the fjord. Very friendly and helpful host. Just a little rain with us.

Ingers and Knuts place was just wonderful, the fjord in front of us, kajaks to be rent for free, swimming directly from the house, incredible views, a very kind and hospitable host, a easy accessible sauna, fishing ropes, bicycles, just everything what we needed. Knut welcomed us, showed us around and he and his wife were just always available when we needed something. And the wooden house with its details was just wonderful to live in for a week. We would love to come back!! Thank you so much.

Ida and Torstein are amazing hosts. They showed us the area, shared the history of the place and recommended beautiful hikes around. The house is charming and has plenty of genuine details, which made us curious about the place we had a pleasure to stay in. One can find everything what is needed in the house: kitchen equipment, stunning view from windows, cozy fireplace and positive vibes of slowing down 🥰 The place is definitely highly recommended! Takk for oss! 🫶

We spent fantastic days at Kjetils house, it was just like we hoped it to be according to the pictures, very cozy house (even bigger living/kitchen area than we expected) in a stunning landscape. Of course spending the long dark nights in the outdoor pool was not only for our children an absolut highlight! (And eben seeing the northern lights one day!) Kjetil always answered immediately any question, just had some minor issues when we arrived in the dark. We would definitely like to come back one day!

Absolutely awesome little house right by everything you’d need! It was adorable and had so much character. Right by the bus stop too so we had such an easy time getting around town. Loved it!

An incredible place set in a beautiful place and our host made sure all our enquiries were answered and very helpful. Was lovely having access to a canoe as well :).

We were 8 adults who have had a great stay in a rich basement apartment with an incredibly nice view. Short distance to Røldalterasse and the ski resort. Easter 2025 will be remembered as memorable and fun. Espen as a host has to be experienced. He just wanted the best for us. Very good communication. Would love to come back.

What a fabulous central location. Apartment exactly as described…really comfortable and cosy. We slept really well. Good WiFi and well stocked with books & games. We mostly ate out but kitchen is well stocked. We would absolutely stay here again.

It was a lovely place in a lovely city. Wish we had more time there.

The apartment was very nice, convenient in a good location right in the center. There was little noise from vehicles and outdoor spaces. Good beds and had all the equipment. Great for a family of 5. Short distance to parking garage.

We spent our winterbreak holiday at her place for the second time around. It felt like a home away from home. It has newly renovated bathroom. Almost everything we needed was readily available. Berit was very welcoming. The kids had fun and we would denitely come back. Highly recommended

Our stay at Anne-Kristine’s Drengstova was simply amazing! It‘s incredible, how much love has gone into turning the older workers‘ room and adjacent space in the former barn into an apartment. But that‘s not all: the view is spectacular, even on a cloudy/rainy day. Numerous walks/hikes to chose from are just a stone‘s throw away. And then there are Anne-Kristin and her husband Arvid: they are wonderful hosts! Very responsive, crazy helpful and very sweet! Would highly recommend Drengstova for anyone who‘s in the area!

The house is even more beautiful and larger than you could see in the pictures. We did not use the boathouse, but it offers a good opportunity to spend time on the water in any weather. The hosts are very nice, we were greeted directly and shown the accommodation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Cozy cottage in a very nice location. A beautiful garden and short way down to the water. The cabin is furnished in an old and cozy style. Happy to come back!

Tor was a very friendly and welcoming host. He was interested in helping with our genealogy touring and worked to link us with locals. After 10 days with a tour group, we appreciated being in a home where we could spread out and relax. Everything we needed to prepare meals was available. It was great to have a washer to do laundry! We hope to return!

The house was both spacious and charming, in a good location. The landlord was friendly and responded right away. We would love to come back!

Ok: if you're into resting & doing some work at a peaceful location then this is it! Cozy, warm, everything works. (If you're there to have a party, then stay far far away from it - the place is calm and peaceful and doesn't need you turning on your lousy, cheap JBL and howling towards the mountains "how amazing you are for existing" ) Anyhow :D , it's one of the pearls of planet: no tourism - just natural beauty and being. If you haven't had a farm-/summerhouse, you might be a bit "stuck up", how everything isn't entirely spot clean or new, but for humans, it's a sincere, cozy place that has been treated with respect - and you should too ! ;) I'll bring my stingy attitude (because I really enjoyed it and wish it lasted for decades) a bit more down and say: go and have a great time! It's a real experience (especially if you're from a flat land)! :)

We had a great stay despite the rain, the house was lovely and cosy. The boys loved being near the fjord and beach. The sauna unexpected extra. Sverre was easy to contact and friendly. The whole experience was super laidback. Thank goodness the sun came out for our last couple of days.
