Our cozy, very bright approx. 70 m² ground floor apartment with a single house character offers you an approx. 40 m² living/dining area with open kitchen, dining area and fireplace, an office room, a shower room with a walk-in shower, a separate bedroom, a large, covered terrace with sauna & whirlpool & an established garden. The beach, city center and train station are within walking distance in approx. 10-15 minutes away, the nearest supermarket is in the immediate vicinity. Dogs are welcome here!

This is what holiday dreams under thatched roofs look like: The Frisian cottage "Kliemkiker" was newly built in 2016: 120 square meters of living space for up to 4 people on a nearly 1000 square meter plot with fantastic views, directly on the Wadden Sea National Park. A dog is also very welcome. All North Frisian islands (Sylt, Föhr, Amrum) and Halligen (e.g. Hooge, Gröde, Langeness) as well as the islands of Pellworm and Römö in Denmark are easily reached by car, train or boat as a day trip.

Vielleicht abends fußläufig zur Strandpromenade oder ins Kino? Auch mit dem Bus die Insel zu erkunden, ist möglich. Die nächste Bushaltestelle ist nur 200 m von Ihrer Unterkunft entfernt.

Die Wohung ist eine von 2 Ferien-Wohnungen (BACKBORD mit Balkon + STEUERBORD mit Garten ) bei uns im Haus in Wyk. Ende 2025 Komplett renoviert und neu eingerichtet präsentiert sich die STEUERBORD Wohung mit allem was man sich für einen erholsamen Urlaub wünscht. Garten, Schlafzimmer mit 2x1,8m Boxspring Bett, komplett ausgestattete Küche und ein Wohnzimmer zum Entspannen und Wohlfühlen. Die Innenstadt, der Hafen und der nächste Badestrand sind alle etwa 900m entfernt.

Mit seinen wunderschönen Fieisenhäusern und dem weiten Blick strahlt das Dorf Ruhe aus. Von Midlum aus kann man die Insel in alle Himmelsrichtungen erkunden, mit dem Fahrrad gibt es exzellente Verbindungen, zum Strand sind es ca 4 km, zum Museum "Kunst der Westküste" in Alkersum ca 1 km. Das Dorf ist auch Start und Ziel von Deutschlands nördlichstem Marathon.

Ein idealer Startplatz für Exkursionen in die Inselwelt. Zum Stadtzentrum mit Geschäften und dem Strand ist es Ca. 1 Km weit, also Alles gut mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen. A newly covered, local thatched roof, the restoration of the old dormer and a careful approach to the expansion in order to preserve as much as possible - that was important to us and characterizes this unique building. Unfortunately, we are not suitable for party groups!

Greenland on Föhr

Hello! We offer our cozy half of a thatched house. The cottage has 37 sqm downstairs, 28 sqm upstairs, a total of about 65 sqm. Upstairs, of course, is slanted. It is located in Boldixum on Föhr. This is a district of Wyk. Since it is still privately used by us, it does not have one thing: the efficient, smooth charm of a vacation home. Where the wild roses grow, that's where we live.
