Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Oita

The house has more amenities than expected. Everything you need is there. The hot spring is very good. Everyone in the family loves it. There are massage chairs to help you relax. The kitchen is fully equipped. Playing the piano with a view of the cherry blossoms is very good. There are also small games for us. Even though the house is a bit old, everything is okay. The owner pays attention to details very well. There are charging cables provided. If I have a chance, I would like to stay again.

It was a spectacular stay! The host is super responsive, helped us with taxi ordering and was super friendly and sweet! The place is stunningly decorated and the cafe and shop add to the atmosphere! Sauna was amazing! Everything was clean, BBQ was provided, as well as toiletries and kitchen equipment! Would recommend 100%!

The place and the location are both fantastic. It is extremely good value for money compared with our other accommodation in Kyushu. The onsen is great. Beds are comfy. Place is warm. View is spectacular. Close to kurokawa onsen town. Close to ski fields. Easy access from beppu (with winter tyres) For access: In winter you need winter tyres to get to Kurosawa onsen. And the property is a bit higher up. we had heavy snowfall, so chains would be preferable for the driveway (but we parked 5min walk away and walked up instead). The highway to get to kurokawa onsen was closed unless you have winter tyres or chains. So it is necessary

It was nice that the view was well equipped with dishes and condiments.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described in the listing—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. What truly made the experience special were the hosts. They were incredibly kind, friendly, and generous, making us feel right at home. A highlight of the stay was the wonderful barbeque service they offered—it was delicious and added a warm, personal touch to the visit. Yuko-san was great. She sent photos of the turn-off to get to the place, as it is not well-marked from the street. She met us upon arrival and showed us around. The road to approach the place is steep and narrow, and it was quite challenging to turn around at the end, even in a small car. We had an entire house, and it was quite spacious. Some areas seemed worn or older, and perhaps in the middle of a remodel, but it seemed fairly clean overall. Some of the ceilings were quite low, and passages between rooms were even lower. We had a couple of spiders as visitors, but nothing too strange for being in the country. The beds were quite hard, but I found some extra padding and was OK when I used that with the original bedding. It was nice to have an actual couch, too, as we haven't had many in our month in Japan. Yuko also had fresh produce and sauces we could eat/use for cooking. The kitchen was well-equipped and easy to use. Wifi worked well. We would gladly stay here again!

Hide-san is very kind and was there to walk us through every corner of the house. The well-stocked kitchen was very helpful as many restaurants closed early during golden week. On top of that, the toilet and bedding were both clean and comfortable. We drove to Kuju and Aso; distance wise, everything is below 1 hour. We will definitely stay again next time!

Very beautiful and clean house with excellent mountain view. Great showers. The owner operates a coffee shop on the first floor, which is very convenient for breakfast. Takao san gave great suggestions for local tours and was very happy to welcome our family, including our dog!
