Private rental of a 130-year-old house with a traditional Japanese sunken fireplace, wood stove, and Goemon bath

This is a private rental inn in a 130-year-old house that the host renovated himself. In the house, there are thick beams that give a sense of history, a view that seems to go on forever, a traditional Japanese sunken hearth that feels nostalgic, a warm wood stove, and a Goemon bath outside. We hope you can feel the essence of living in the countryside while experiencing the slow flow of time in the countryside. For meals, you can bring in ingredients and cook them in the kitchen, which has an IH heater, fridge, microwave, and toaster, or you can grill the ingredients on the lava plate or in the Irori pot on the Irori fireplace. There is also a field behind the house, and depending on the season, you can harvest fresh vegetables and eat them as they are. There are two types of baths, an indoor unit bath and an outdoor Goemon bath where guests can light the fire themselves. The bedroom is tatami mats and futons. The bedroom has air conditioning for a comfortable night's sleep. Reclining chairs are available on the wooden deck, so please enjoy the view of the countryside.

This is a single rental villa with a dog run in Kiyokawa Village, the only village in Kanagawa Prefecture.There is a small river next to the villa, and you can hear the babbling of the river during your stay. The fully renovated villa is equipped with a wood stove, TV, high-speed wifi, table tennis table, and a large terrace connected to the living room, lawn in front of you, and the mountain forest create a comfortable space. At night, the stars look beautiful, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and the outdoor air bath and BBQ after the sauna while gazing at the stars in an infinity chair in nature.The tent sauna has an anti-inflationary chimney, so you can enjoy the sauna even in the rain.The outdoor air bath is also pleasant in the rain. Ricefields, Rivers and Mountains

This house is a beautiful blend of traditional and modern making it convenient but also authentically Japanese. Mountains and ricefields are beside you, the Shimanto River can be heard. The ground floor is all yours. It's spacious with a large tatami sleeping room that can become two. The A/C is only in one room if the doors are closed. There is no central heating. Restaurants are within 10min or you can prepare local foods in your own equipped kitchen. It’s designed for long and short stays.
