Holiday rentals in Oleiros

This is a great space in a real out-of-the-way part of Portugal. Tired of big city tourism? Try this property. Tiny villages dot the hills and you get an old world sense of Portugal here. The pool is the real star of the property here (as are Eric's three dogs, one of which lounged with us each morning) as it overlooks he view of the river. We did use the kayaks as well. It is hard to get to them down a very steep hill with ladders and a bit of minor repelling. Not for those with a bad knee or hip. Which gets me to, accessing the apartments, particularly the lower unit, is tricky. Steep, slanting and uneven steps that can be a little slippery. Perhaps not for the elderly. Hint for improvement would be to upgrade the furnishings and kitchenware. The knives couldn't cut an orange.

Nuno was a very helpful and communicative host. You can tell he cares a lot about the local community and area. The village itself was lovely.

Hello, we really enjoyed our stay here. We were here only for one night. The accomodation was clean and spacious. Beds were extremely soft and clean. We definetely recommed it.

Ana’s place is beautiful and convenient, felt right at home. The surrounding is peaceful and beautiful, really enjoy to hear the river. Ana was great, friendly helpful and communicative. We had a great weekend. Highly recommended!!!

We spent incredible days in this house and took with us memories that will stay forever. The space is cosy, surrounded by nature everywhere, perfect for those who need to disconnect from the world and simply breathe. The house has everything it takes to feel at home, but what makes this place really special is the energy that you feel there: peace, quiet and a strong connection to the earth. We went with our dogs and it was wonderful to see them happy, free and in contact with nature. Every detail of the house demonstrates care and affection. It is from those places where time slows down and the heart thanks. Thank you for providing this serenity corner. We'll be back for sure.

Maria José is the host that we all want to have. He was concerned to guide us to the house, described it reliably and still left us a welcome gift. The house is very beautiful and is right in front of the river. From all the windows we have a beautiful view. In addition, it is very well equipped and we have all that is needed for a good stay. Near the river beach, the shale villages and nearby beautiful landscapes and leisure structures and the hospitality of our hostess made our weekend wonderful. Thank you for everything!

We had a quick but super nice stay! The apartment is very nicely located on the small creek and is reminiscent of a dreamy cabin in the picturesque mountains. The hostess was very friendly and guided us over the phone to the property as we had slight difficulties with the car and weather conditions! Everything went great and we would come back right away! :)

We had a fantastic 5 day stay. Lynne greeted us and showed us around. A very well positioned little cottage with spectacular views lots of privacy and everything else you need. It had a little kitchen with all essentials and warmth from either Ac or the log burner made it really comfortable. Thank you for a lovely stay we hope to come again sometime.
